How to open main app from ShieldActionExtension?
Hi! I'm building a Screen Time management app using FamilyControls and ManagedSettings. When a user taps the primary button on a ShieldActionExtension, I need to open my main app to guide them through an intervention exercise. Other approved App Store apps like Jomo - Screen Time Blocker do exactly this: tapping their shield's primary button opens the main Jomo app directly. Screen recording: https://drive.google.com/file/d/15yubtTdTkFskGCIaAw_HGB57-boHPl3a/view?usp=sharing I've tried: URL schemes (UIApplication.shared.open() unavailable in extensions) Universal links Local notifications (works, but adds an extra tap) NSUserActivity Is there a supported API I'm missing? Or another accepted solution? Any guidance is appreciated.

MCP servers don’t start in Codex (Xcode 26.3)
I’m trying to use MCP servers with Xcode 26.3 Coding Intelligence (Codex agent). With a project-scoped config file at /.codex/config.toml, MCP servers are not reliably loaded. /.codex/config.toml Example: [mcp_servers.Notion] url = "https://mcp.notion.com/mcp" enabled = true [mcp_servers.XcodeBuildMCP] command = "/bin/zsh" args = ["-lc", "/opt/homebrew/bin/npx -y xcodebuildmcp@beta mcp"] enabled = true tool_timeout_sec = 10000 Expected: Xcode consistently loads MCP servers defined in /.codex/config.toml across restarts. Actual: Xcode often only exposes xcode-tools. In some sessions MCP servers appear, but after restarting Xcode they may disappear. The global file at ~/Library/Developer/Xcode/CodingAssistant/codex/config.toml also seems managed/rewritten by Xcode and isn’t reliable for custom MCP servers. Questions Is /.codex/config.toml the official/supported way to configure MCP servers for Codex in Xcode right now? Are there any requirements for Xcode to load it (e.g. workspace must be Trusted, open .xcworkspace vs .xcodeproj, full restart/force quit, etc.)? Is there any logging/diagnostics to understand why the MCP server is not starting or not being picked up?

How to align views in a LazyVGrid to a common base-line?
I have the following snippet (but you can see my entire code in GitHub, if you want): LazyVGrid(columns: columns) { ForEach(books) { book in BookView(book: book) .draggable(Book.BookTransferable(persistanceIdentifier: book.id)) } } and BookView is: VStack { Image(nsImage: book.image) .resizable() .frame(width: 150, height: 200) .scaledToFill() Text(book.title) .lineLimit(1) .font(.headline) HStack { ForEach(book.tags.sorted(), id: \.self) { tag in TagView(tag: tag, showText: false) } } } .padding() This will render each BookView on a different base-line because of the fact that the Text view sometimes takes 1, 2 or even 3 lines (as shown). How can I have all BookViews alligned at a common base-line (as it would if Text would only take one line, for example)?

Does anyone know how to achieve this custom MKAnnotation?
I’ve notice that in Maps, some pins contain images and do not have the little triangle at the bottom of it, yet they still animate the same when clicked. How could this be achieved? I believe the name of this annotation is MKMapFeatureAnnotation. I've tried this and it did not give the same result. I'm able to create a custom MKMarkerAnnotationView but it does not animate the same (balloon animation like the MKMapFeatureAnnotation). I was looking forward to create a custom MKMapFeatureAnnotation similar in design which would animate the same. Unfortunately, I cannot create a custom MKMapFeatureAnnotation because everything is privated

Really long App review delays
Hello everyone Hoping for some insights with an issue we're having with our app store review process. Note that this is not a new app, and we've had many successful reviews in the past. We submitted the app for review just over a week ago. We received a timely review about 24 hours later, citing an issue with Apple Pay. We make use of PassKit, but the reviewer could not find where we use Apple Pay in our app. I replied within a few hours with screenshots and videos, as it is quite easy to find where we use Apple Pay. Since then, we haven't received any feedback at all. I tried resubmitting a new build after 4 day,s and that is also sitting unreviewed for a while now. We've got features and bug fixes that were supposed to go out in this release, but we are now blocked on them. Is there anything we can do?

WidgetKit: WidgetCenter.reloadAllTimelines() / reloadTimelines(ofKind:) requests are silently ignored/deferred, causing widget to remain unupdated
Problem After launching the host app by tapping the widget (widgetURL), calls to: WidgetCenter.shared.reloadAllTimelines() WidgetCenter.shared.reloadTimelines(ofKind: ...) are ignored/deferred for an initial period right after the app opens. During this window, the widget does not reload its timeline and remains unupdated, no matter how many times I call the reload methods. After some time passes (typically ~30 seconds, sometimes shorter/longer), reload calls start working again. There is also no developer-visible signal (no callback/error/acknowledgement) that the reload was ignored, so the app can’t detect the failure and can’t reliably recover the flow. Question: Is this expected behavior (throttling/cooldown) after opening the app from a widget ? If so, is there any recommended workaround to update the widget reliably and quickly (or at least detect that the reload was not accepted)? Any guidance would help.

Developer Disk Image could not be mounted on this device
I have been working on a M1 Mac mini, using my iPad Air M2 running 26.3 iPadOS. Switched to a new M4 Mac mini, went to connect my iPad to run from Xcode and was presented this "The developer disk image could not be mounted on this device." So how can a get an updated DDI? I appreciate any ideas. /Users/robertlawson/Desktop/Screenshot 2026-02-15 at 8.21.50 PM.png

Zoom transition source tile lags after back navigation when LazyVGrid is scrolled immediately
[Submitted as FB21961572] When navigating from a tile in a scrolling LazyVGrid to a child view using .navigationTransition(.zoom) and then returning, the source tile can lag behind the rest of the grid if scrolling starts immediately after returning. The lag becomes more pronounced as tile content gets more complex; in this simplified sample, it can seem subtle, but in production-style tiles (as used in both of my apps), it is clearly visible and noticeable. This may be related to another issue I recently filed: Source item disappears after swipe-back with .navigationTransition(.zoom) CONFIGURATION Platform: iOS Simulator and physical device Navigation APIs: matchedTransitionSource + navigationTransition(.zoom) Container: ScrollView + LazyVGrid Sample project: ZoomTransition (DisappearingTile).zip REPRO STEPS Create a new iOS project and replace ContentView with the code below. Run the app in sim or physical device Tap any tile in the scrolling grid to navigate to the child view. Return to the grid (back button or edge swipe). Immediately scroll the grid. Watch the tile that was just opened. EXPECTED All tiles should move together as one coherent scrolling grid, with no per-item lag or desynchronization. ACTUAL The tile that was just opened appears to trail behind neighboring tiles for a short time during immediate scrolling after returning. MINIMAL CODE SAMPLE import SwiftUI struct ContentView: View { @Namespace private var namespace private let tileCount = 40 private let columns = [GridItem(.adaptive(minimum: 110), spacing: 12)] var body: some View { NavigationStack { ScrollView { LazyVGrid(columns: columns, spacing: 12) { ForEach(0..<tileCount, id: \.self) { index in NavigationLink(value: index) { RoundedRectangle(cornerRadius: 16) .fill(color(for: index)) .frame(height: 110) .overlay(alignment: .bottomLeading) { Text("\(index + 1)") .font(.headline) .foregroundStyle(.white) .padding(10) } .matchedTransitionSource(id: index, in: namespace) } .buttonStyle(.plain) } } .padding(16) } .navigationTitle("Zoom Transition Grid") .navigationSubtitle("Open tile, go back, then scroll immediately") .navigationDestination(for: Int.self) { index in Rectangle() .fill(color(for: index)) .ignoresSafeArea() .navigationTransition(.zoom(sourceID: index, in: namespace)) } } } private func color(for index: Int) -> Color { let hue = Double(index % 20) / 20.0 return Color(hue: hue, saturation: 0.8, brightness: 0.9) } } SCREEN RECORDING

Apple Developer Program Enrollment — Pending for Over 3 Weeks (D-U-N-S Verified)
Hello, I’m posting here to seek guidance or visibility regarding a delayed Apple Developer Program enrollment. I completed my organization enrollment over three weeks ago and provided a valid D-U-N-S number, which is correctly listed and verifiable. Since submitting the enrollment: The status has remained unchanged I’ve contacted Apple Developer Support three times via email I’ve received no response or timeline updates There is no option shown to request a phone call At this point, I’m unable to proceed with TestFlight, app distribution, or further development planning, and the lack of communication has made it difficult to understand next steps or expected timelines. If anyone from Apple Support or the community can advise: Whether this delay is expected If additional verification steps are required Or how best to escalate appropriately I’d really appreciate the guidance. Thank you for your time.

Unity iOS Game Name Display Issue
When building a Unity iOS game, the app name displays incorrectly as "BigBall" on the iPhone home screen, despite setting the project name and bundle identifier to "Big Ball" in Unity and Apple Developer account. The correct name, "Big Ball," appears in TestFlight. I tried solutions from ChatGPT and DeepSeek, but none were satisfactory. Please help me.

Memory leak in CarPlay when using CPListImageRowItem
Memory leak in CarPlay when using CPListImageRowItem. The following behavior was observed in the CPListTemplate class when using CPListImageRowItem: If a CPListImageRowItem cell is inserted into the screen, the screen starts to leak, even if it contains no elements (CPListImageRowItem(titleList: nil, imagesRow: [], titlesRow: []). Replacing CPListImageRowItem with CPListItem stops the leak. Using the new initializer for iOS 26 does not correct the issue; the screen still leaks. File Download Support in SwiftUI Native WebView (iOS 26+)
I am using the native SwiftUI WebView and WebPage APIs (iOS 26+) and would like to implement file download functionality using the native SwiftUI WebView. However, I have not been able to find any APIs equivalent to WKDownload. In WKWebView, the WKDownload API can be used to handle downloads. I am looking for a similar API or recommended approach in the native SwiftUI WebView that would allow downloading files. If anyone has guidance or suggestions on how to implement this, I would appreciate your help.

"access_denied" error during Sign in with Apple user migration (TN3159)
Hello, I am currently process of migrating an app from Team A to Team B and attempting to generate transfer identifiers using the migration endpoint: POST https://appleid.apple.com/auth/usermigrationinfo. Content-Type: application/x-www-form-urlencoded However, I am consistently receiving an { "error": "access_denied" } response. [Current Configuration] Team A (Source): Primary App ID: com.example.primary Grouped App IDs: com.example.service (Services ID for Web) com.example.app (App ID for iOS - The one being transferred) All identifiers are under the same App Group. Team B (Destination): New App ID and Key created. [Steps Taken] Created a Client Secret (JWT) using Team A's Key ID and Team ID. The sub (subject) in the JWT is set to the Primary App ID of Team A. Requesting with client_id (Primary App ID), client_secret (JWT), and user_token. [Questions] 1. App Group Impact: Does the fact that the App being transferred is a Grouped App ID (not the Primary) affect the usermigrationinfo request? Should I use the Primary App ID or the specific Grouped App ID as the client_id? 2. Ungrouping Safety: If I need to ungroup the App ID from the Primary App ID to resolve this: Will existing users still be able to sign in without issues? Is there any risk of changing the sub (user identifier) that the app receives from Apple? Will this cause any immediate service interruption for the live app? Any insights on why access_denied occurs in this Primary-Grouped configuration would be greatly appreciated.

macOS: Is ARKit-equivalent face tracking possible with an external camera?
Hello, I am an individual developer working on a macOS application using SwiftUI and RealityKit. I would like to understand the feasibility of face-related tracking on macOS when using an external USB camera, compared to iOS/iPadOS. Specifically: • Does macOS provide an ARKit Face Tracking–equivalent API (e.g., real-time facial expressions, gaze direction, depth)? • If not, is it common to rely on Vision / AVFoundation as alternatives for: • Facial expression coefficients • Gaze estimation • Depth approximation • In an environment without dedicated sensors such as TrueDepth, is it correct to assume that accurate depth data and high-fidelity blend shape extraction are realistically difficult? Any clarification on official limitations, recommended alternatives, or relevant documentation would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
