Unable to Change Primary Locale for 4–6 Year Old Live App – “Missing Screenshots” Error Despite All Assets Uploaded
Hi everyone, We’re facing an issue while trying to change the Primary Language / Primary Locale of a long-standing live iOS app in App Store Connect. The app has been live for 4–6+ years. When attempting to update the Primary Locale from App Information, we receive the following error: “Primary Locale couldn’t be saved because you must first provide all the required screenshots for each version in this language.” However: The target localization (English – UK) already exists. All required screenshot sets are uploaded. No screenshot sections are blank (iPhone and iPad – all visible display sizes). Both the live version and the version in review contain complete screenshot sets. No Apple Watch or iMessage extensions are currently included in the build. A clean build has been uploaded and selected. Removing the version from review does not resolve the issue. There are no visible validation errors in the UI. This appears to be either: A hidden backend validation requirement, A legacy platform association, Or a Primary Locale lock tied to the app’s original configuration. Has anyone successfully changed the Primary Locale for an older live app recently? Is there a known limitation for apps created several years ago? Would appreciate any insight before escalating further. Thanks in advance.

Unable to contact Apple Developer Support regarding DPLA compliance
We received a DPLA compliance notification from Apple referencing Section 11.2(g) for our developer account (REVSTREAM LLC). We responded promptly and have taken corrective measures to ensure full compliance. However, when attempting to send a follow-up message through the developer.apple.com/contact form (Membership and Account → Agreements and Contracts), we receive the error: "There was a problem processing your request." We are unable to reach Apple Developer Support through this channel to confirm our response was received and to provide additional information. Could the @Apple team please advise on an alternative way to communicate regarding this matter? We want to ensure we are fully addressing all concerns. Thank you.

Developer Disk Image could not be mounted on this device
I have been working on a M1 Mac mini, using my iPad Air M2 running 26.3 iPadOS. Switched to a new M4 Mac mini, went to connect my iPad to run from Xcode and was presented this "The developer disk image could not be mounted on this device." So how can a get an updated DDI? I appreciate any ideas. /Users/robertlawson/Desktop/Screenshot 2026-02-15 at 8.21.50 PM.png

Announce the time not using selected voice
With 26.4 beta 2 announce the time is no longer using the voice I have selected. I am using Australian English Siri 2, however it will speak using American English Samantha. I also have the system voice set the Australian English Siri 2 which is never honored. In fact, with that setting, Speak announcement never happens. Speak announcements has been broken since 26.0. There are several other issues with text to speach. Basically, TTS works for the most part if you use the default Samantha voice. Various things break when using other voices. FB22035712 -- "Announce the time not using selected voice" FB22035743 -- "Speak announcements only works if Samantha voice is selected." I will note that FB20933185 -- "Siri voices break System voice UI" appears fixed in 26.4 beta 2, in that the UI is no longer broken with Siri voices, but now Siri voices aren't honored.

Memory leak in CarPlay when using CPListImageRowItem
Memory leak in CarPlay when using CPListImageRowItem. The following behavior was observed in the CPListTemplate class when using CPListImageRowItem: If a CPListImageRowItem cell is inserted into the screen, the screen starts to leak, even if it contains no elements (CPListImageRowItem(titleList: nil, imagesRow: [], titlesRow: []). Replacing CPListImageRowItem with CPListItem stops the leak. Using the new initializer for iOS 26 does not correct the issue; the screen still leaks. ProgressView(timerInterval:countsDown:) bar never reaches zero
Consider the following code on iOS: struct ContentView: View { @State private var timerInterval = Date(timeIntervalSince1970: 0) ... Date(timeIntervalSince1970: 0) var body: some View { VStack { ProgressView( timerInterval: timerInterval, countsDown: true ) Button { let now = Date() let then = now.addingTimeInterval(5) timerInterval = now ... then } label: { Text("Start") } } .padding() } } When I tap on the Start button, the progress view starts animating as expected, and its label is displaying the remaining time. However, at the very end, when the countdown reaches zero, the blue bar of the progress view doesn't reach zero and still has some progress left forever. Is this the expected behavior or a bug? Is there a way to make the bar reach zero without implementing my own custom view? Thanks in advance!

How to align views in a LazyVGrid to a common base-line?
I have the following snippet (but you can see my entire code in GitHub, if you want): LazyVGrid(columns: columns) { ForEach(books) { book in BookView(book: book) .draggable(Book.BookTransferable(persistanceIdentifier: book.id)) } } and BookView is: VStack { Image(nsImage: book.image) .resizable() .frame(width: 150, height: 200) .scaledToFill() Text(book.title) .lineLimit(1) .font(.headline) HStack { ForEach(book.tags.sorted(), id: \.self) { tag in TagView(tag: tag, showText: false) } } } .padding() This will render each BookView on a different base-line because of the fact that the Text view sometimes takes 1, 2 or even 3 lines (as shown). How can I have all BookViews alligned at a common base-line (as it would if Text would only take one line, for example)?

For some reason, my Apple Developer subscription didn't connect.
Please help. I purchased an Apple Developer account subscription through the iPhone app. It's listed in the App Store, but it's not listed in Apple Developer itself. I've been waiting for a response from support for over a week, but it's as if they've completely forgotten about me; no one's responding. Although, in fact, it says two days ago. Has anyone else encountered this and can help? It's asking me to pay a second time, and through the website.

Individual to Organization Membership 17 days, not completed
I want to know about the time it takes to transition from an individual to an organization with Apple's Developer Program. I received an email notifying me that the transition process would begin on February 2nd, 2026, and today, February 19th, 2026, everything still shows as being in progress without any changes. So I want to know the maximum timeframe or how to know if they are actually completing this process. I have sent two support emails, but received no response.

How to detect if a view controller is presented in a popover
I need to detect whether a view controller is presented in a popover or in fullscreen mode, as on iPhone. I checked viewController.popoverPresentationController but it returns a non-nil value even on iPhone, when it's clearly not in a popover. I then checked viewController.presentationController?.adaptivePresentationStyle but it returns .formSheet even when it's presented in a popover!?! Why? This whole adaptive presentation thingie is a mess. Heck, viewController.presentationController returns _UIPageSheetPresentationController even when the view controller is in a UINavigationController, so not presented at all. Anybody got any ideas?

Enrollment Stuck 45+ Days: Identity Verification Link Error "Sorry, you don't have access
Hello, I am seeking assistance with a stuck enrollment for the Apple Developer Program (Individual). I paid the annual fee on January 7th and have an active subscription shown in my App Store (renews Jan 8, 2027), but my developer account remains inactive. The Issue: I received an email on January 12th asking me to verify my identity. When I click the "Upload ID" link provided in that official email, I am met with this error: "Sorry, you don't have access. Your account isn't authorized to upload files." What I've Checked: I am signed in with the same Apple ID used for the purchase. The Apple Developer App does not show any "Verify Identity" or "Continue Enrollment" buttons in the Account tab; it only shows "Enroll Now," but that button is greyed out. I have tried multiple browsers (Safari, Chrome) and Incognito mode with no success. I have contacted Developer Support three times over the last month but have not received a response. My account seems to be in a loop where I am required to verify, but my account permissions do not allow me to access the verification portal. Could a moderator or anyone from the team please help escalate this? Region: Egypt Subscription ID: MQQ6N543ZS

Voice control puts three icons in the menu bar
Having voice control enabled now puts three menu bar items. The blue icon it has always had, supplemented with an orange microphone and an orange dot next to control center. I know this orange icon is there to notify me that a third-party application is accessing the microphone, but this is a first-party system service that is always running. If another app starts accessing the microphone I won't know, since the orange icon is always there anyway. It's like a California prop 65 warning. Maybe it was a good idea in principal but with it being ubiquitous everyone just ignores it. Siri is also always accessing the microphone, but doesn't trigger this orange eyesore because it's a system service. Both Siri and voice control are always on in the background, are first-party system services that must be specifically enabled, and both have their own menu bar icon that can be removed if not wanted. This orange icon with voice control potentially introduces MORE risk by training me to ignore the orange icon. Please return to the pre-26.3 behaviour of using this orange icon for third-party apps and not first-party system services. FB22036182 -- "Voice control causes extra menu bar icon"

Video in "Made for iPad" apps on macOS
I'm relatively new to Swift development (and native iOS development for that matter) I've got an iOS app that uses the iPhone / iPad built in cameras, and am looking to make this more compatible with macOS. Using the normal AVCaptureDevice.DiscoverySession I seem to get the iPhone Continuity Camera and the in-built MacBook Pro camera but I don't see other input devices that I see in QuickTime Player (for example) such as connected external cameras or Virtual Inputs provided by NDI Virtual Input and OBS. Is there a way to see access these without a specific Mac build (as the rest of the functionality works great, and I'd rather not diverge the codebase too much as it's easier to update one app than two!

VideoMaterial Black Screen on Vision Pro Device (Works in Simulator)
VideoMaterial Black Screen on Vision Pro Device (Works in Simulator) App Overview App Name: Extn Browser Bundle ID: ai.extn.browser Purpose: A visionOS web browser that plays 360°/180° VR videos in an immersive sphere environment Development Environment & SDK Versions Component Version Xcode 26.2 Swift 6.2 visionOS Deployment Target 26.2 Swift Concurrency MainActor isolation enabled App is released in the TestFlight. Frameworks Used SwiftUI - UI framework RealityKit - 3D rendering, MeshResource, ModelEntity, VideoMaterial AVFoundation - AVPlayer, AVAudioSession WebKit - WKWebView for browser functionality Network - NWListener for local proxy server Sphere Video Mechanism The app creates an immersive 360° video experience using the following approach: // 1. Create sphere mesh (10 meter radius for immersive viewing) let mesh = MeshResource.generateSphere(radius: 10.0) // 2. Create initial transparent material var material = UnlitMaterial() material.color = .init(tint: .clear) // 3. Create entity and invert sphere (negative X scale) let sphere = ModelEntity(mesh: mesh, materials: [material]) sphere.scale = SIMD3<Float>(-1, 1, 1) // Inverts normals for inside-out viewing sphere.position = SIMD3<Float>(0, 1.5, 0) // Eye level // 4. Create AVPlayer with video URL let player = AVPlayer(url: videoURL) // 5. Configure audio session for visionOS let audioSession = AVAudioSession.sharedInstance() try audioSession.setCategory(.playback, mode: .moviePlayback, options: [.mixWithOthers]) try audioSession.setActive(true) // 6. Create VideoMaterial and apply to sphere let videoMaterial = VideoMaterial(avPlayer: player) if var modelComponent = sphere.components[ModelComponent.self] { modelComponent.materials = [videoMaterial] sphere.components.set(modelComponent) } // 7. Start playback player.play() ImmersiveSpace Configuration // browserApp.swift ImmersiveSpace(id: appModel.immersiveSpaceID) { ImmersiveView() .environment(appModel) } .immersionStyle(selection: .constant(.mixed), in: .mixed) Entitlements <!-- browser.entitlements --> <key>com.apple.security.app-sandbox</key> <true/> <key>com.apple.security.network.client</key> <true/> <key>com.apple.security.network.server</key> <true/> Info.plist Network Configuration <key>NSAppTransportSecurity</key> <dict> <key>NSAllowsArbitraryLoads</key> <true/> </dict> The Issue Behavior in Simulator: Video plays correctly on the inverted sphere surface - 360° video is visible and wraps around the user as expected. Behavior on Physical Vision Pro: The sphere displays a black screen. No video content is visible, though the sphere entity itself is present. Important: Not a DRM/Licensing Issue This issue is NOT related to Digital Rights Management (DRM) or FairPlay. I have tested with: Unlicensed raw MP4 video files (no DRM protection) Self-hosted video content with no copy protection Direct MP4 URLs from CDN without any licensing requirements The same black screen behavior occurs with all unprotected video sources, ruling out DRM as the cause. (Plain H.264 MP4, no DRM) Screen Recording: Working in Simulator The following screen recording demonstrates playing a 360° YouTube video in the immersive sphere on the visionOS Simulator: https://cdn.commenda.kr/screen-001.mov This confirms that the VideoMaterial and sphere rendering work correctly in the simulator, but the same setup shows a black screen on the physical Vision Pro device. Observations AVPlayer status reports .readyToPlay - The video appears to load successfully VideoMaterial is created without errors - No exceptions thrown Sphere entity renders - The geometry is visible (black surface) Audio session is configured - No errors during audio session setup Network requests succeed - The video URL is accessible from the device Same result with local/unprotected content - DRM is not a factor Console Logs (Device) The logging shows: Sphere created and added to scene AVPlayer created with correct URL VideoMaterial created and applied Player status transitions to .readyToPlay player.play() called successfully Rate shows 1.0 (playing) Despite all success indicators, the rendered output is black. Questions for Apple Are there known differences in VideoMaterial behavior between the visionOS Simulator and physical Vision Pro hardware? Does VideoMaterial(avPlayer:) require specific video codec/format requirements that differ on device? (The test video is a standard H.264 MP4) Is there a required Metal capability or GPU feature for VideoMaterial that may not be available in certain contexts on device? Does the immersion style (.mixed) affect VideoMaterial rendering on hardware? Are there additional entitlements required for video texture rendering in RealityKit on physical hardware? Attempted Solutions Configured AVAudioSession with .playback category Added delay before player.play() to ensure material is applied Verified sphere scale inversion (-1, 1, 1) Tested multiple video URLs (including raw, unlicensed MP4 files) Confirmed network connectivity on device Ruled out DRM/FairPlay issues by testing unprotected content Environment Details Device: Apple Vision Pro visionOS Version: 26.2 Xcode Version: 26.2 macOS Version: Darwin 25.2.0
