TestFlight app crashes on launch when minimum supported iOS version is set to iOS 14
Hi All, I have an App on AppStore, recently the minimum supported version of the app was changed from iOS 12 to iOS 14. Post that the TestFlight builds are crashing on launch. If we revert the minimum supported iOS version to 12, the crash no longer happens. This project is using cocoapods, and from the crash logs it seems the issue with with PLCrashReporter framework. "EXC_CRASH" Termination reason: DYLD 9 weak-def symbol not found '__ZN7plcrash3PL_5async15dwarf_cfa_stateljiE10push_stateEv'. This issue is happening only on TestFlight builds where the minimum supported version is 14.0 Any pointer to a solution is welcome.

SwiftMacros Not able to access of main project XCTest File.
I have developed a Swift macro called @CodableInit in the SwiftCodableMacro module, and I’m able to use it successfully in my main project. Here’s an example usage: import SwiftCodableMacro @CodableInit // This is for Codable macros public class ErrorMonitoringWebPlugin { public var identifier: UUID = UUID() // MARK: - Codable required public init(from decoder:Decoder) throws { let values = try decoder.container(keyedBy: CodingKeys.self) identifier = try values.decode(UUID.self, forKey: .identifier) } } However, when I try to write a unit test for the ErrorMonitoringWebPlugin class, I encounter an issue. Here's the test case: func testCodableSubjectIdentifierShouldEqualDecodedSubjectIdentifier() { self.measure { let encoder = JSONEncoder() let data = try? encoder.encode(subject) //Here I am getting this error Class 'JSONEncoder' requires that 'ErrorMonitoringWebPlugin' conform to 'Encodable' let decoder = JSONDecoder() let decodedSubject = try? decoder.decode(ErrorMonitoringWebPlugin.self, from: data!) XCTAssertEqual(subject.identifier, decodedSubject?.identifier) } } The compiler throws an error saying: Class 'JSONEncoder' requires that 'ErrorMonitoringWebPlugin' conform to 'Encodable' Even though the @CodableInit macro is supposed to generate conformance, it seems that this macro-generated code is not visible or active inside the test target. How can I ensure that the @CodableInit macro (from SwiftCodableMacro) is correctly applied and recognized within the XCTest target of my main project?

My app crashes and I don't know why
Hi! I'm new at developing apps. I built my app with Expo and it's working fine in simulator and my iPhone 14 as well. But when I try to run the build in my iPhone with TestFlight it crashes instantly :/ This is part of the log: Incident Identifier: B0ED8DEF-A0F0-4D0C-B3BB-3BB9CAB3242A Distributor ID: com.apple.TestFlight Hardware Model: iPhone14,7 Process: colbakapp [83024] Path: /private/var/containers/Bundle/Application/44211687-140E-4DF3-A577-CB68CE6414B0/colbakapp.app/colbakapp Identifier: com.colbak.colbakapp Version: 1.0.0 (3) AppStoreTools: 16F3 AppVariant: 1:iPhone14,7:18 Beta: YES Code Type: ARM-64 (Native) Role: Foreground Parent Process: launchd [1] Coalition: com.colbak.colbakapp [18141] Date/Time: 2025-06-22 13:26:29.0142 -0400 Launch Time: 2025-06-22 13:26:28.6532 -0400 OS Version: iPhone OS 18.5 (22F76) Release Type: User Baseband Version: 3.60.02 Report Version: 104 Exception Type: EXC_CRASH (SIGABRT) Exception Codes: 0x0000000000000000, 0x0000000000000000 Termination Reason: SIGNAL 6 Abort trap: 6 Terminating Process: colbakapp [83024] Triggered by Thread: 2 Thread 0: 0 libsystem_kernel.dylib 0x00000001f2e4fce4 mach_msg2_trap + 8 1 libsystem_kernel.dylib 0x00000001f2e5339c mach_msg2_internal + 76 (mach_msg.c:201) 2 libsystem_kernel.dylib 0x00000001f2e532b8 mach_msg_overwrite + 428 (mach_msg.c:0) 3 libsystem_kernel.dylib 0x00000001f2e53100 mach_msg + 24 (mach_msg.c:323) 4 CoreFoundation 0x00000001a1c42900 __CFRunLoopServiceMachPort + 160 (CFRunLoop.c:2637) 5 CoreFoundation 0x00000001a1c411f0 __CFRunLoopRun + 1208 (CFRunLoop.c:3021) 6 CoreFoundation 0x00000001a1c42c3c CFRunLoopRunSpecific + 572 (CFRunLoop.c:3434) 7 GraphicsServices 0x00000001eee21454 GSEventRunModal + 168 (GSEvent.c:2196) 8 UIKitCore 0x00000001a4655274 -[UIApplication _run] + 816 (UIApplication.m:3845) 9 UIKitCore 0x00000001a4620a28 UIApplicationMain + 336 (UIApplication.m:5540) 10 colbakapp 0x00000001046296b0 main + 64 (AppDelegate.swift:6) 11 dyld 0x00000001c8b17f08 start + 6040 (dyldMain.cpp:1450) Thread 1: 0 libsystem_pthread.dylib 0x000000022c350aa4 start_wqthread + 0 Thread 2 Crashed: 0 libsystem_kernel.dylib 0x00000001f2e5a1dc __pthread_kill + 8 1 libsystem_pthread.dylib 0x000000022c357c60 pthread_kill + 268 (pthread.c:1721) 2 libsystem_c.dylib 0x00000001a9c782d0 abort + 124 (abort.c:122) 3 libc++abi.dylib 0x000000022c2815a0 abort_message + 132 (abort_message.cpp:78) 4 libc++abi.dylib 0x000000022c26fef4 demangling_terminate_handler() + 316 (cxa_default_handlers.cpp:72) 5 libobjc.A.dylib 0x000000019f1e7c08 _objc_terminate() + 172 (objc-exception.mm:499) 6 libc++abi.dylib 0x000000022c2808b4 std::__terminate(void ()()) + 16 (cxa_handlers.cpp:59) 7 libc++abi.dylib 0x000000022c2840d0 __cxa_rethrow + 188 (cxa_exception.cpp:658) 8 libobjc.A.dylib 0x000000019f1e5568 objc_exception_rethrow + 44 (objc-exception.mm:399) 9 colbakapp 0x00000001049f7b68 invocation function for block in facebook::react::ObjCTurboModule::performVoidMethodInvocation(facebook::jsi::Runtime&, char const, NSInvocation*, NSMutableArray*) + 200 (RCTTurboModule.mm:444) 10 colbakapp 0x00000001049fc538 facebook::react::ObjCTurboModule::performVoidMethodInvocation(facebook::jsi::Runtime&, char const*, NSInvocation*, NSMutableArray*)::$_1::operator()() const + 36 (RCTTurboModule.mm:463) 11 colbakapp 0x00000001049fc538 decltype(std::declval<facebook::react::ObjCTurboModule::performVoidMethodInvocation(facebook::jsi::Runtime&, char const*, NSInvocation*, NSMutableArray*)::$_1&>()()) std::__1::__invoke[abi:ne190102... + 36 (invoke.h:149) 12 colbakapp 0x00000001049fc538 void std::__1::__invoke_void_return_wrapper<void, true>::__call[abi:ne190102]<facebook::react::ObjCTurboModule::performVoidMethodInvocation(facebook::jsi::Runtime&, char const*, NSInvocation*, NSMu... + 36 (invoke.h:224) 13 colbakapp 0x00000001049fc538 std::__1::__function::__alloc_func<facebook::react::ObjCTurboModule::performVoidMethodInvocation(facebook::jsi::Runtime&, char const*, NSInvocation*, NSMutableArray*)::$_1, std::__1::allocator<face... + 36 (function.h:171) 14 colbakapp 0x00000001049fc538 std::__1::__function::__func<facebook::react::ObjCTurboModule::performVoidMethodInvocation(facebook::jsi::Runtime&, char const*, NSInvocation*, NSMutableArray*)::$_1, std::__1::allocator<facebook::... + 104 (function.h:313) 15 libdispatch.dylib 0x00000001a9bbcaac _dispatch_call_block_and_release + 32 (init.c:1575) 16 libdispatch.dylib 0x00000001a9bd6584 _dispatch_client_callout + 16 (client_callout.mm:85) 17 libdispatch.dylib 0x00000001a9bc52d0 _dispatch_lane_serial_drain + 740 (queue.c:3939) 18 libdispatch.dylib 0x00000001a9bc5dac _dispatch_lane_invoke + 388 (queue.c:4030) 19 libdispatch.dylib 0x00000001a9bd01dc _dispatch_root_queue_drain_deferred_wlh + 292 (queue.c:7198) 20 libdispatch.dylib 0x00000001a9bcfa60 _dispatch_workloop_worker_thread + 540 (queue.c:6792) 21 libsystem_pthread.dylib 0x000000022c350a0c _pthread_wqthread + 292 (pthread.c:2696) 22 libsystem_pthread.dylib 0x000000022c350aac start_wqthread + 8 Thread 3: 0 libsystem_pthread.dylib 0x000000022c350aa4 start_wqthread + 0 ... On demand module download
I am working on an iOS app and I want to achieve on demand module download inside the app when the user clicks on the module icon which he wants to use. The idea is that we have a super app consisting of multiple modules say four independent apps/features and I want to separate each one so that when the user selects a specific app/feature, it’s downloaded on demand and then opened directly within the same super app resulting in a lower app size initially I want to upload all the code of all modules to app store connect but when the user downloads the app, then only one module's code should be available to the user, the rest of the module's code should be downloaded when the user wants to use that module. I know apple restricts downloading new code but in my case I want to upload all the code to app store for review but just give option to the user to get rest of the code when needed. Any guidance, architectural advice, or example implementations would be highly appreciated.

Why does my zsh prompt permanently change?
Hey, I am using the terminal a lot. Since I updated to Sonoma (so, really a long time ago). My prompt or more precise the hostname always changes between three states. Sometimes it is username@Macbook-Pro-of-XXX, sometimes username@MacbookPro and sometimes it's username@xxxxxxxx-yyyy-zzzz-aaaa-bbbbbbbbbbbb. The latter is probably my UUID. Does anyone have a clue why this randomly changes?

macOS 15.6: Opened package is not the same at install time
I've created an installation package and it is failing to install on macOS 15.6. The package is, I believe, properly notarized, since it will install correctly on other macOS versions, including 15.5 The only clue I have is the output from installer: installer[8015] : Opened package is not the same at install time installer[8015] : Unable to use PK session due to incompatible packages. Terminating. installer[8015] : Install failed: The Installer could not install the software because there was no software found to install. The installer consists of a a single "component" package, and the outer "product" package. The component package is present, and I can successfully run installer manually to install it, so I don't think the component package is corrupt. Has anyone else encountered this? Are there any tools available to help me diagnose the issue? The logging is not helpful.

Digital Wallet - Test devices - Orange Rule
We have tried using multiple test devices to dev and test Digital Wallet provisioning and unable to do it successfully as the rule decision goes into orange flow. This is a blocker for our project involving digial wallet provisioning testing. Is there a way that our test devices could be excluded from hitting orange rule so we can continue with provisioning?

Unable to Enable “Media Services (MusicKit, ShazamKit)” When Creating a Key
I am trying to integrate Apple Music API using MusicKit and need to generate a Developer Token. However, when I try to create a new key from the Certificates, Identifiers & Profiles section, the “Media Services (MusicKit, ShazamKit, Apple Music Feed)” option is grayed out. We are getting the error 'there are no identifiers available that can be associated with the key.' Although we did checkmark 'musickit' in app services. I have already: Enrolled in the paid Apple Developer Program Created a valid App ID under Identifiers Logged in as the Account Holder Tried multiple browsers and devices Despite this, the option remains disabled. Could you please enable this or let me know what further steps I need to take? Thank you!

Best replacement for MCL
So, as we found out from WWDC, the migration to Apple Silicon is inevitable. Does anyone have a good recommendation for a replacement for Macintosh Common Lisp on Apple Silicon? I was using it back in the MPW days and struggling to keep the Lisp code working, but Apple Silicon has thrown a money wrench at it! Thanks in advance for any advice on any available Apple Silicon Lisp development tools!

"No Such Module" When Using Mergable Libraries In a Static XCFramework
I'm attempting to create a proof of concept of a static library, distributed as an XCFramework, which has two local XCFramework dependencies. The reason for this is because I'm working to provide a single statically linked library to a customer, instead of providing them with the static library plus the two dependencies. The Issue With a fairly simple example project, I'm not able to access any code from the static library without the complier throwing a "No such module" error and saying that it cannot find one of the dependent modules. Project Layout I have an example project that has some example targets with basic example code. Example Project on Github Target: FrameworkA Mach-0 Type: Dynamic Build Mergable Library: Yes Skip Install: No Build Libraries For Distribution: Yes Target: FrameworkB Mach-0 Type: Dynamic Build Mergable Library: Yes Skip Install: No Build Libraries For Distribution: Yes XCFrameworks are being generated from these two targets using Apple's recommendations. I've verified that the mergable metadata is present in both framework's Info.plist files. Each exposes a single struct which will return an example String. Finally I have my SDK target: Target: ExampleKit Mach-0 Type: Static Build Mergable Library: No Create Merged Binary: Manual Skip Install: No Build Libraries For Distribution: Yes The two .xcframework files are in the Target's folder structure as well. The "Link Binary With Libraries" build phase includes them and they're Required. Inside of the ExampleKit target, I have a single public struct which has two static properties which return the example strings from FrameworkA and FrameworkB. I then have another script which generates an XCFramework from this target. Expectations Based on Apple's documentation and the "Meet Mergable Libraries" WWDC session I would expect that I could make a simple iOS app, link the ExampleKit.xcframework, import ExampleKit inside of a file, and be able to access the single public struct present in ExampleKit. Unfortunately, all I get is "No such module FrameworkA". I would expect that FrameworkA and FrameworkB would have been merged into ExampleKit? I'm really unsure of where to go from here in debugging this. And more importantly, is this even a possible thing to do?

Regarding Launch Screens
When building an app with iOS26 beta3, I received a warning saying "Launch screens will soon be required." Does this mean that, similar to the thread below, the app might not launch in builds for iOS27 and later (including iOS27)? https://developer.apple.com/forums/thread/789004

Device token for DeviceCheck API
Hi all, I'm trying to integrate Apple’s DeviceCheck API into my Flutter iOS app. I already have everything set up on the backend — the Apple private key, key ID, team ID, and DeviceCheck capability. The backend is generating and signing the JWT correctly and making requests to Apple. However, I’m currently stuck on the frontend (Flutter): 👉 How can I generate the device_token required by the DeviceCheck API (via DCDevice.generateToken) in a Flutter iOS app? I understand that DCDevice.generateToken() must be called from native Swift code. I previously attempted to use a MethodChannel to bridge this in Swift, but would prefer not to write or maintain native Swift code if possible. I've looked for a prebuilt Flutter package to handle this, but nothing exists or is up-to-date on pub.dev. Main Question: Is there any Apple-supported way to generate the device_token for DeviceCheck from a Flutter app without writing Swift code manually? If not, is DCDevice.generateToken() the only possible approach, and must I implement this via Swift and Flutter platform channels? Thanks!

Game Porting Toolkit brew install issue
Hi, I’m having trouble installing GPT 1.1 on macOS Sequoia 15.3.1 using Xcode Command Line Tools 16.0. I downloaded Evaluation Environment for Windows Games 2.1, mounted the image, and opened the README file. Then, I followed Option 2 to build the environment from scratch: Set up your development and Homebrew environment Ensure you are using Command Line Tools for Xcode 15.1. You can download this older version from: https://developer.apple.com/downloads Note: There is a header file layout change that prevents using newer versions of the macOS SDK. softwareupdate --install-rosetta arch -x86_64 zsh /bin/bash -c "$(curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Homebrew/install/HEAD/install.sh)" which brew brew tap apple/apple http://github.com/apple/homebrew-apple brew -v install apple/apple/game-porting-toolkit At first, I noticed that I needed to use CLT 15.1, which is not supported on later macOS versions (including mine). Even when I tried using 15.3 (which is somehow supported), I received a message stating that I needed CLT v16.0 or higher to install GPT. After following all the steps and waiting for the installation to complete, I got the following error: ==> Installing apple/apple/game-porting-toolkit ==> Staging /Users/tycjanfalana/Library/Caches/Homebrew/downloads/7baed2a6fd34b4a641db7d1ea1e380ccb2f457bb24cd8043c428b6c10ea22932--crossover-sources-22.1.1.tar.gz in /private/tmp/game-porting-toolkit-20250316-15122-yxo3un ==> Patching ==> /private/tmp/game-porting-toolkit-20250316-15122-yxo3un/wine/configure --prefix=/usr/local/Cellar/game-porting-toolkit/1.1 --disable-win16 --disable-tests --without-x --without-pulse --without-dbus --without-inotify --without-alsa --without-capi --without-oss --without-udev --without-krb5 --enable-win64 --with-gnutls --with-freetype --with-gstreamer CC=/usr/local/opt/game-porting-toolkit-compiler/bin/clang CXX=/usr/local/opt/game-porting-toolkit-compiler/bin/clang++ checking build system type... x86_64-apple-darwin24.3.0 checking host system type... x86_64-apple-darwin24.3.0 checking whether make sets $(MAKE)... yes checking for gcc... /usr/local/opt/game-porting-toolkit-compiler/bin/clang checking whether the C compiler works... no configure: error: in `/private/tmp/game-porting-toolkit-20250316-15122-yxo3un/wine64-build': configure: error: C compiler cannot create executables See `config.log' for more details ==> Formula Tap: apple/apple Path: /usr/local/Homebrew/Library/Taps/apple/homebrew-apple/Formula/game-porting-toolkit.rb ==> Configuration HOMEBREW_VERSION: 4.4.24 ORIGIN: https://github.com/Homebrew/brew HOMEBREW_PREFIX: /usr/local Homebrew Ruby: 3.3.7 => /usr/local/Homebrew/Library/Homebrew/vendor/portable-ruby/3.3.7/bin/ruby CPU: 14-core 64-bit westmere Clang: 16.0.0 build 1600 Git: 2.39.5 => /Library/Developer/CommandLineTools/usr/bin/git Curl: 8.7.1 => /usr/bin/curl macOS: 15.3.1-x86_64 CLT: 16.0.0.0.1.1724870825 Xcode: N/A Rosetta 2: true ==> ENV HOMEBREW_CC: clang HOMEBREW_CXX: clang++ CFLAGS: [..] Error: apple/apple/game-porting-toolkit 1.1 did not build Logs: /Users/xyz/Library/Logs/Homebrew/game-porting-toolkit/00.options.out /Users/xyz/Library/Logs/Homebrew/game-porting-toolkit/01.configure /Users/xyz/Library/Logs/Homebrew/game-porting-toolkit/01.configure.cc /Users/xyz/Library/Logs/Homebrew/game-porting-toolkit/wine64-build If reporting this issue, please do so to (not Homebrew/brew or Homebrew/homebrew-core): apple/apple In config.log, I found this: configure:4672: checking for gcc configure:4704: result: /usr/local/opt/game-porting-toolkit-compiler/bin/clang configure:5057: checking for C compiler version configure:5066: /usr/local/opt/game-porting-toolkit-compiler/bin/clang --version >&5 clang version 8.0.0 Target: x86_64-apple-darwin24.3.0 Thread model: posix InstalledDir: /usr/local/opt/game-porting-toolkit-compiler/bin configure:5077: $? = 0 configure:5066: /usr/local/opt/game-porting-toolkit-compiler/bin/clang -v >&5 clang version 8.0.0 Target: x86_64-apple-darwin24.3.0 Thread model: posix InstalledDir: /usr/local/opt/game-porting-toolkit-compiler/bin configure:5077: $? = 0 configure:5066: /usr/local/opt/game-porting-toolkit-compiler/bin/clang -V >&5 clang-8: error: argument to '-V' is missing (expected 1 value) clang-8: error: no input files configure:5077: $? = 1 configure:5066: /usr/local/opt/game-porting-toolkit-compiler/bin/clang -qversion >&5 clang-8: error: unknown argument '-qversion', did you mean '--version'? clang-8: error: no input files configure:5077: $? = 1 configure:5066: /usr/local/opt/game-porting-toolkit-compiler/bin/clang -version >&5 clang-8: error: unknown argument '-version', did you mean '--version'? clang-8: error: no input files configure:5077: $? = 1 configure:5097: checking whether the C compiler works configure:5119: /usr/local/opt/game-porting-toolkit-compiler/bin/clang [...] dyld[15547]: Symbol not found: _lto_codegen_debug_options_array Referenced from: <E33DCAC4-3116-3019-8003-432FB3E66FB4> /Library/Developer/CommandLineTools/usr/bin/ld Expected in: <43F5C676-DE37-3F0E-93E1-BF793091141E> /usr/local/Cellar/game-porting-toolkit-compiler/0.1/lib/libLTO.dylib clang-8: error: unable to execute command: Abort trap: 6 clang-8: error: linker command failed due to signal (use -v to see invocation) configure:5123: $? = 254 configure:5163: result: no configure: failed program was: | /* confdefs.h */ | #define PACKAGE_NAME "Wine" | #define PACKAGE_TARNAME "wine" | #define PACKAGE_VERSION "7.7" | #define PACKAGE_STRING "Wine 7.7" | #define PACKAGE_BUGREPORT "" | #define PACKAGE_URL "" | /* end confdefs.h. */ | | int | main (void) | { | | ; | return 0; | } configure:5168: error: in `/private/tmp/game-porting-toolkit-20250316-15122-yxo3un/wine64-build': configure:5170: error: C compiler cannot create executables See `config.log` for more details Does anyone have any ideas on how to fix this?

How to Obtain License File for Main Camera Access Entitlement in visionOS (Email Was Deactivated During Approval)
Hi everyone, I'm developing a visionOS application using Unity with an enterprise developer account. I applied for the Main Camera Access entitlement, but at the time of submission, the email address associated with my Apple ID was deactivated, so I couldn’t receive any email communication from Apple. Later, I updated the email address for my Apple ID. Now, in the Apple Developer portal under Identifiers, I can see that my app has been granted Main Camera Access, and I can also add the corresponding capability in Xcode. However, according to Apple’s documentation(https://developer.apple.com/documentation/visionos/building-spatial-experiences-for-business-apps-with-enterprise-apis): “To use entitlements, you need to include both the entitlement file and a corresponding license file in your app. After Apple approves your app for one or more entitlements, you receive a license file, along with additional instructions.” I never received this license file, possibly due to the deactivated email. I don't know where to find it or how to retrieve it now. What exactly is this license file? If it was originally sent to an unreachable email, how can I request it again or get it resent? Where in the Apple Developer portal (or elsewhere) can I access or download this file? Any help or guidance would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance.

Apple 1-Hour Security Feature Keeps Triggering When Registering iPhone (Starlink User)
Hi everyone, I’m hoping someone here can shed some light on what’s going on with Apple’s one-hour security delay when trying to register an iPhone for development use. I’m currently setting up an app build using Expo / EAS and a paid Apple Developer account. Every time I scan the device registration QR code or try to authorise my iPhone as a development device, I get hit with a “security delay — try again in one hour” message. This happens every single time, even if I wait the full hour. The device is the same iPhone I always use, signed in to the same Apple ID, and verified with 2FA. The only thing unusual about my setup is that I’m using Starlink for internet access. Because Starlink uses dynamic IP routing and your exit node changes frequently (depending on which satellite or ground station you’re on), it looks like I’m signing in from a new location each time — sometimes even hundreds of miles apart. It seems that Apple’s security system flags each of these as a “new login” or “new device registration,” then enforces a one-hour safety lockout. That makes it basically impossible to register my device and proceed with iOS builds or testing. Has anyone else run into this problem while using Starlink (or other dynamic-routing connections like VPNs or cellular hotspots)? And if so — is there any known workaround or setting to whitelist a device, stabilise verification, or bypass the repeated one-hour wait? This feels like an over-protective security feature that doesn’t play well with modern satellite internet setups. Any insights from the Apple engineers or other developers would be hugely appreciated. Thanks, Tim Lazenby

The bundle does not contain an app icon for iPhone / iPod Touch of exactly '120x120' pixels
Trying to publish my .NET MAUI app via the transporter after migrating it from Xamarin (using the App Store Connect feature directly within visual studio 2022 has never worked for me) and getting this error. Validation failed (409) Missing required icon file. The bundle does not contain an app icon for iPhone / iPod Touch of exactly '120x120' pixels, in .png format for iOS versions >= 10.0. To support older versions of iOS, the icon may be required in the bundle outside of an asset catalog. Make sure the Info.plist file includes appropriate entries referencing the file. I have setup my maui app to use the asset catalog with the .pngs setup as bundled resources and I have also tried using the .svg method, both resulting in this error. When I zip and unzip my .ipa file I can see the asset catalog as part of the payload (C:\Archives\AIM_MAUI\Payload\AIM_MAUI.app\AppIcon.appiconset) Here is the contents of the Contents.json file { "images" : [ { "filename" : "icon_40.png", "idiom" : "iphone", "scale" : "2x", "size" : "20x20" }, { "filename" : "icon_60.png", "idiom" : "iphone", "scale" : "3x", "size" : "20x20" }, { "filename" : "icon_58.png", "idiom" : "iphone", "scale" : "2x", "size" : "29x29" }, { "filename" : "icon_87.png", "idiom" : "iphone", "scale" : "3x", "size" : "29x29" }, { "filename" : "icon_80.png", "idiom" : "iphone", "scale" : "2x", "size" : "40x40" }, { "filename" : "icon_120.png", "idiom" : "iphone", "scale" : "3x", "size" : "40x40" }, { "filename" : "icon_120.png", "idiom" : "iphone", "scale" : "2x", "size" : "60x60" }, { "filename" : "icon_180.png", "idiom" : "iphone", "scale" : "3x", "size" : "60x60" }, { "filename" : "icon_20.png", "idiom" : "ipad", "scale" : "1x", "size" : "20x20" }, { "filename" : "icon_40.png", "idiom" : "ipad", "scale" : "2x", "size" : "20x20" }, { "filename" : "icon_29.png", "idiom" : "ipad", "scale" : "1x", "size" : "29x29" }, { "filename" : "icon_58.png", "idiom" : "ipad", "scale" : "2x", "size" : "29x29" }, { "filename" : "icon_40.png", "idiom" : "ipad", "scale" : "1x", "size" : "40x40" }, { "filename" : "icon_80.png", "idiom" : "ipad", "scale" : "2x", "size" : "40x40" }, { "filename" : "icon_76.png", "idiom" : "ipad", "scale" : "1x", "size" : "76x76" }, { "filename" : "icon_152.png", "idiom" : "ipad", "scale" : "2x", "size" : "76x76" }, { "filename" : "icon_167.png", "idiom" : "ipad", "scale" : "2x", "size" : "83.5x83.5" }, { "filename" : "icon_1024.png", "idiom" : "ios-marketing", "scale" : "1x", "size" : "1024x1024" } ], "info" : { "author" : "xcode", "version" : 1 } } I have tried manually using the actool tool from Xcode 16.4 to create the Assets.car file that is seeming to be missing and leading to this issue but even that can't compile the icons (or even a simple sample appicon.appiconset from Xcode with a singular .png added) and I am beginning to think there's an issue with the actool itself. I have tried reinstalling Xcode and every time the actool is just a partial download or a stub of the tool and not the real tool (actool size on my Mac is only 170kb and per my research it should be at least a couple mb) Is there any workaround?
