Speech Recognition Entitlement Not Appearing in App ID Capabilities
Hello, I recently enrolled in the Apple Developer Program and created an App ID with the bundle ID com.echo.eyes.voice. I am trying to enable Speech Recognition in the App ID capabilities list, but the option does not appear — even after waiting over a week since my membership was activated. I’ve already: Confirmed my Apple Developer account is active Checked the Identifiers section in the Developer portal Tried editing the App ID, but Speech Recognition is not listed Contacted both Developer Support and Developer Technical Support (Case #102594089120), but was told to post here for help My app uses Capacitor + the @capacitor-community/speech-recognition plugin. I need the com.apple.developer.speech-recognition entitlement to appear so I can use native voice input in iOS. I would really appreciate help from an Apple engineer or anyone who has faced this issue. Thank you, — Daniel Colyer

Unable to Test Xamarin App with iOS 26 Simulators in Visual Studio
Hello, I’m trying to test a Xamarin.iOS application using the iOS 26 simulators in Mac Visual Studio, but I’m encountering an issue where the simulators are not appearing or accessible from Visual Studio. Details: macOS version: 15.6 (24G84) Xcode version: 26 Beta 5 Visual Studio version: 17.6.0.80 Xamarin.iOS version: Xamarin.Forms (Version: 4.6.0.1180) using XAML for cross-platform support (iOS/Android) The problem started after updating to iOS 26 SDK. I am unable to select or run the app on any iOS 26 simulator from Visual Studio. Has anyone faced a similar issue? Is there any configuration or workaround to enable iOS 26 simulators for Xamarin projects? Thanks in advance for your help.

AppleClang adds `/usr/local/include` to application search folders
By default, AppleClang adds /usr/local/include to the application search folders for include files (as opposed to the system include dirs). This causes problems with the expected include order because application search folders always have priority over system includes. Specifically it causes problems with the conan package manager as library includes are added with -isystem This behaviour differs from LLVM mainline clang and GCC, where /usr/local/include is a system include (added with -internal-isystem). Steps to reproduce - run echo 'int main() { return 0; }' | clang -xc -v - the output is as follows Apple clang version 17.0.0 (clang-1700.0.13.5) Target: arm64-apple-darwin24.5.0 Thread model: posix InstalledDir: /Applications/Xcode.app/Contents/Developer/Toolchains/XcodeDefault.xctoolchain/usr/bin "/Applications/Xcode.app/Contents/Developer/Toolchains/XcodeDefault.xctoolchain/usr/bin/clang" ... -isysroot /Applications/Xcode.app/Contents/Developer/Platforms/MacOSX.platform/Developer/SDKs/MacOSX.sdk -I/usr/local/include -internal-isystem /Applications/Xcode.app/Contents/Developer/Platforms/MacOSX.platform/Developer/SDKs/MacOSX.sdk/usr/local/include ...

Security warning while installing .pkg file in mac OS desktop
We have a macOS application packaged as a .pkg file. To notarize it, we first code-sign individual library folders and the .app bundle using the following command: codesign --force --deep --sign "Developer ID Application: <Our Account Name>, LLC (Team ID)" "Our_product.app" Code Sign result for .app file: Our_prodcut.app: valid on disk Our_product.app: satisfies its Designated Requirement We are using packages tool to create .pkg file with code signed .app file. Steps followed once .pkg file is ready: 1. Product Sign: productsign -sign "Developer ID Installer: <Our Account Name>" output.pkg signed-output.pkg 2. Submit for notorization: `xcrun notarytool submit signed-outout.pkg --keychain-profile "notarytool-password" --wait Received following output: Current status: Accepted................................. Processing complete id: 2d5c450f-5b22-4b4d-9579-ef21c0356548 status: Accepted Transferred Notarization log: xcrun notarytool log 10169892-b28c-407c-b348-edab0b34ef34 --keychain-profile "notarytool-password" Desktop/developer_log_6.json We have observed log with "Accepted" status with issues as "null". 3. Stapler: stapler staple signed-output.pkg stapler validate signed-output.pkg Processing: signed-output.pkg The validate action worked! 4. Checking status of .pkg file: Command: spctl --assess --verbose=4 signed-output.pkg Output: signed-output.pkg: rejected source=no usable signaturess Warning During Installation: While installing the .pkg file, a security warning appears as follows. Please help us to resolve this.

Xcode
Hello, I'm not a developer. I have an app in the App Store and an Apple Developer account. I have two questions: 1. I'm trying to find out exactly where the source code of my app is located - I can't. It should be in Xcode. There is only Xcode cloud in my account, which is inactive. 2. I want to find out what programming language my app is written in. How do I do this?

App crashes on start in TestFlight
Hi, I have a .NET MAUI app running on .NET 9. When I test locally in debug or release mode it works perfectly fine, but when testing from TestFlight it crashes almost immediately every time. I have sent the crash report to TestFlight and produced the symbolicated.crash file (attached), but I'm not sure it's helpful for understanding how to fix the issue. If anyone can help me understand what the issue might be and any possible fixes it'd be very much appreciated. I'm developing using Visual Studio 2022 paired to my Mac. I have distributed previously without issue, but now can't seem to, even after reverting recent code. net9.0-ios 15.0 symbolicated.crash

libclang_rt.profile_driverkit.a' not found
Hi guys! I have gone through an absolute nightmare, trying to solve the issue that I am about to tell you about. As the title says, I am getting the error: Library '/Xcode.app/Contents/Developer/Toolchains/XcodeDefault.xctoolchain/usr/lib/clang/17/lib/darwin/libclang_rt.profile_driverkit.a' not found I trimmed off part of that directory as I did not want to reveal that information about my computer. From what I can tell, the file in question is no longer even a part of Xcode. I have searched, it is not on my computer anywhere. I have also downloaded older versions of Xcode to search with it. None of them have it. I have literally tried everything under the Son to solve this issue. I have been stuck on it for two days. I have even resorted to doing something I hate, which is asking for ChatGPT to assist me with solving the issue. No help there. I am at my wits end. So I am coming to you guys, have you seen this error? Any ideas at all? The odds are pretty good whatever you recommend I have probably already tried 200 times over. But I am still open to hearing anything. Have any of you had this error? Any ideas? I am on the latest version of macOS. The project is for a macOS app. M4 Mac mini. Any additional information I can provide, that will be helpful? At this point, I am leaning more towards this being a bug with Xcode than anything.

Cannot compile a simple C++ program on Mac OS
I'm trying to compile a simple hello world C++ program on my MacBook Pro. I have a M3 Pro (Nov 2023) running Sequoia 15.6. The program is: #include <iostream> int main() { std::cout << "Hello World!"; return 0; } The error I get is: In file included from test.cpp:1: In file included from /Applications/Xcode.app/Contents/Developer/Platforms/MacOSX.platform/Developer/SDKs/MacOSX.sdk/usr/include/c++/v1/iostream:42: In file included from /Applications/Xcode.app/Contents/Developer/Platforms/MacOSX.platform/Developer/SDKs/MacOSX.sdk/usr/include/c++/v1/ios:220: In file included from /Applications/Xcode.app/Contents/Developer/Platforms/MacOSX.platform/Developer/SDKs/MacOSX.sdk/usr/include/c++/v1/__locale:15: In file included from /Applications/Xcode.app/Contents/Developer/Platforms/MacOSX.platform/Developer/SDKs/MacOSX.sdk/usr/include/c++/v1/__memory/shared_ptr.h:13: In file included from /Applications/Xcode.app/Contents/Developer/Platforms/MacOSX.platform/Developer/SDKs/MacOSX.sdk/usr/include/c++/v1/__compare/compare_three_way.h:13: In file included from /Applications/Xcode.app/Contents/Developer/Platforms/MacOSX.platform/Developer/SDKs/MacOSX.sdk/usr/include/c++/v1/__compare/three_way_comparable.h:12: In file included from /Applications/Xcode.app/Contents/Developer/Platforms/MacOSX.platform/Developer/SDKs/MacOSX.sdk/usr/include/c++/v1/__compare/common_comparison_category.h:15: /Applications/Xcode.app/Contents/Developer/Platforms/MacOSX.platform/Developer/SDKs/MacOSX.sdk/usr/include/c++/v1/cstddef:42:5: error: <cstddef> tried including <stddef.h> but didn't find libc++'s <stddef.h> header. Where's the replacement for Quartz Debug?
Hi, This can't be right. Is there really no replacement for Quartz Debug?!? As the sole developer on a project who has an Intel Mac and Quartz Debug, I am basically a god now. Everyone else has Apple Silicon and... I think they're randomly guessing at this point. Because I have entire teams sending me Intel Mac builds of stuff just so I can test it in QD. This is THE TOOL we used at NewTek to find performance issues, and THE TOOL I used for a dozen companies after that, to help them with similar issues. If there's no replacement, is there a reason there's no replacement? This feels like a massive step backwards, having to guess at problems like this. -Chilton

Fake JournalingSuggestions for testing?
I want to test different types of journaling suggestions, like for example photo/video containing ones but as a developer I have no control over what's shown in the Journaling Suggestions sheet. And this makes it really difficult to develop or test any suggestion type other than "reflection". Please let us have a fake suggestions sheet that includes all kinds of suggestion types so we can test. We could toggle it under Developer settings I think.

Can't download macOS 26 beta 8
Any time I attempt to download the latest beta of macOS 26, Safari stops the download at Zero KB, with no indication of why. I'm able to download OS 26 beta 8 for the other platforms absolutely fine, just not macOS. Pressing the little orange "reload" button, just results in another copy of the same zero KB file bundle on the file system. Can anyone help please?

Command line compilation problem, standard includes not found

Error build expo EAS
I'm trying to create a new build from VSC through EAS (expo) but it's failing and returning the error I'm attaching. I'm running the command eas build --profile preview --platform ios. I have an "App Manager" account, my colleague has the same role and he can do builds normally. I have other permissions and accesses ok, as can be seen in the attached picture, but apparently I have the issue in "register bundle identifier". Does anyone faced the same issue? How can I solve this? What step I'm missing? Thanks in advance!

If you have code to package as a framework which has a 3rd party dependency, what can you do given that iOS doesn't support umbrella frameworks
I've got a large and complex app which has several dependencies upon 3rd party libraries (installed as pods). The app is structured according to Model-View-Controller design and there is a requirement to implement the Model part as an .xcframework so it can be included and used in the original app along with a few new apps. However, Apple documentation states that umbrella frameworks are not supported (Technical Note TN2435). The Model code has several dependencies which would be totally unfeasible to replace or remove, for example it uses RealmSwift for database storage. Obviously it would be impossible to write one's own database storage scheme in place of using Realm. However, if my framework uses Realm as a dependency, then its now become an umbrella framework. So therefore not supported according to Apple documentation. So what are options/solutions?
