I noticed a discrepancy between the Material specifications for tvOS on the Developer page and the naming in the Design Resources (Sketch files). Which one should we consider authoritative?

I’m working with Reality Composer and noticed that images added directly to a scene appear significantly darker when viewed in AR.
This seems different from how other objects in the scene respond to lighting, especially under varying real-world light conditions.
Is this expected behavior?
Are images treated with a different lighting model in Reality Composer?
Is there any recommended way to get more consistent light response for image-based artworks?
Hello everyone,
I’m looking for some advice or shared experiences regarding an app rejection under App Store Review Guideline 4.3(b) – Design – Spam.
Our app was rejected and, after an appeal to the App Review Board, Apple maintained that the app “duplicates the content and functionality of similar apps in a saturated category.” We strongly disagree with this classification and are struggling to understand how Guideline 4.3(b) has been applied in our case.
The app was developed as an original product:
Custom-designed content (including original cards and interactions)
A unique visual style and UI
A distinct interaction flow focused on encouraging social interaction between users
This was not a template-based or reskinned app, nor is it part of a series of similar submissions.
We fully respect the App Store Review Guidelines and are open to making adjustments to better align with them. However, what we find difficult is the lack of specific, actionable feedback. We have not received clear guidance on which exact elements are considered duplicative or what changes would meaningfully address the concern.
Some of the questions we are hoping the community can help with:
In your experience, what typically triggers a 4.3(b) rejection in cases like this?
Are there specific mechanics, terminology, or presentation choices that reviewers often interpret as problematic?
Have others successfully resolved a 4.3(b) rejection without completely abandoning their app concept?
We have already invested significant time and resources into this project, and being advised to create an entirely new app is not financially feasible for us. We are genuinely trying to understand how to proceed in a way that is constructive and compliant.
Any insights, experiences, or advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you in advance.

Hi, I just had V1.0 of my app approved on the App Store and I immediately noticed that the icon preview is broken.
It looks good in Xcode, on-device and also in the App Store link preview.
The icon was built with Icon Composer.
Here's the difference (left is App store):
Has anyone encountered the same issue and found a solution?
Hi,
Just want to check is there a requirement for Apple that for App Digital Wallet provisioning that Apple Pay button is not more than 2 taps away from Home Screen?
We're using StoreKit for in-app purchases on iOS, and our backend has the server notification URL configured. However, during subscription renewals, Apple's server doesn't send any requests to our endpoint. What could be causing this?
I am developing an app in Swift Playground (No Xcode). All my Views respond to the navigation call when I click NEXT except one. When I click NEXT the app hangs then crashes. The error message does not identify the cause of the crash. I have research every possible lead with no success. I would like to get some ideas on how to resolve this issue.
Where is the Figma App Icon Template mentioned in the Developer session https://developer.apple.com/videos/play/wwdc2025/361?
Hi Apple team,
We're planning to integrate Tap to Pay on iPhone feature in our product, and found there's a QR code button on the your Figma design: https://www.figma.com/design/2SOXmeLvimllvT67MTMLOy/Tap-to-Pay-on-iPhone--Community-?node-id=0-1&t=E3XskpsLctTuZvg5-1
Questions:
is there any official documentation about the QR code button on this screen?
What happens when user clicks on QR button?
What're the suggestions to show/hide that button, and can we customize it?
Thanks.

Hello All,
I used to own an app named LOLIIPOP, and am in the process of transferring it to my new apple account.
I am having two problems....
How do I transfer the source code and binary to my new apple account?
My developers have an old code, so I need to send them the LAST code they uploaded to the App Store.
How do I do that as well???
Please any help!!!
Thanks,
Mr. LM
I have some questions about Liquid Glass and iOS 26 on the iPhone.
Routine scrolling transactions in any view are causing the title to change from Light Mode colors to Dark Mode colors. Is this now standard operation? The column headers are also displaying a black stripe across the top of the screen when scrolling. So why doesn't the display shift when in Dark Mode to Light mode?
Scrolling is causing everything in the header (navigation title, time, battery status, and wi-fi status) to change from black to white.
Is this an accessibility action that I may have turned on by accident?
I'm not very thrilled by this behavior!
The problem is the same in all of my applications. To reproduce it, in iOS 26, set the dark mode in the Brightness and display settings and in Accessibility, Display and text size, activate Increase contrast and bold text. With these settings, all the controls will be surrounded by a thin white line. When in the app a keyboard is dispayed, the thin white line does not appears correctly around the keyboard like in the capture joined, it is present on top and partially on bottom but not on sides
Hi everyone 👋 I’m a new iOS developer working on my first app and I’ve run into a frustrating visual bug involving my app icon during the launch/close transition.
Issue:
When I use Icon Composer (the new tool introduced for iOS 26) to generate my app icon, I consistently see a thin white border or “fringe” around the icon only during the transition animation (when the app opens or closes). It disappears once the animation ends.
What I tested and confirmed:
• I exported the exact same design directly from Adobe Illustrator as a 1024×1024 PNG, fully opaque, RGB color mode, background color filling the entire canvas (no transparency, no borders, no rounded corners).
• When I place that exported PNG directly into the AppIcon asset catalog in Xcode, the icon renders perfectly — no white fringe appears, just a slightly darker shade of blue during transitions (expected and acceptable).
• But when I generate the icon using Icon Composer, the white edge always appears, even if I disable effects, use full coverage layers, or only keep a flat color layer.
Notes:
• Tested on iOS 26 (latest beta) using Xcode 16.
• The issue seems specific to Icon Composer’s export format or metadata — maybe it’s not stripping alpha correctly or something related to the squircle mask?
• I followed all recommended specs: 1024×1024 px, PNG, sRGB, no transparency, exported from Illustrator at 72ppi with solid background.
Even tested without the logo, just the icon made with icon composer
Is anyone else experiencing this issue with Icon Composer exports?
Is there an official recommendation to avoid this during transitions or should I simply avoid Icon Composer for production icons for now and stick with Illustrator / Figma exports?
Thanks so much
Here’s a visual example:
I have the following code that renders a one-page PDF:
func render() -> URL {
let renderer = ImageRenderer(content: pdfView())
let url = URL.documentsDirectory.appending(path: "filename.pdf")
renderer.render { size, context in
var document = CGRect(x: 0, y: 0, width: 2550, height: 3300)
guard let pdf = CGContext(url as CFURL, mediaBox: &document, nil) else {
return
}
pdf.beginPDFPage(nil)
context(pdf)
pdf.endPDFPage()
pdf.closePDF()
}
return url
}
func pdfView() -> some View {
Text("View")
}
How can this be modified so that it renders a PDF with more than one page?
I’m not a developer - I’m just trying to find out where to post a question I have that might relate to iOS 26.
Dear Developer, Is there a way to create a function to search with inside a text without having to be outside all of the messages? In other words, could I go into one of my contact’s texts and then search specifically inside that message as can be done on Android? This would be such an amazing function And make life so much easier. Thank you.
Hello Apple Developer Support,
We initially uploaded our INRx App on a different Apple Developer account for internal testing purposes.
Now, we would like to publish the same app under a new Apple Developer account for production, but we're currently facing a design-related rejection during the review process.
We believe the app meets all guidelines, and there were no design issues flagged previously when submitted from the testing account.
Could you please help us understand:
Why the same app is now being rejected for design issues?
Is there a way to resolve this while moving the app to the new account?
Any advice or clarification would be greatly appreciated so we can successfully proceed with publishing.
Thank you!
