Hello,
Can anyone tell me what this means? Or if it's normal?
I'm seeing about 10% battery drain per day on sleep, and pmset -g log shows wakes nearly every minute.

Hello Apple Developer Community,
I need some assistance with my account. I created a new developer account for a new project I am working on, and paid the apple developer fee. Everything was working fine for a few weeks, I was able to get my app on TestFlight and invite testers to it, as well as push updates and get feedback. The testers were family/business partners.
As of a few days ago, I was locked out of my account. I first tried resetting my password, and was then met with an email claiming my account was locked with no additional information.
I am trying to understand how I can either unlock my account, or transfer my existing app to a new account, so that I do not have to bother my users with downloading a new app. Additionally, I would like some help in understanding how I can safeguard myself from this issue in the future, especially given this would not be fun if my app were published.
Could anyone please assist me, provide me with any advice, or point me to a place where I could get support? I spent 25 minutes on the phone with apple support, and was treated excellently as I've come to expect of Apple, but unfortunately was not given any help as the support did not have additional information. I'm hoping I'm asking in the right place, and can get some help!
Thanks in advance,
Fritz

I am writing to report an issue encountered while testing the iOS 26 beta. It appears that adding VPN configurations is currently not possible in this version.
Specifically, attempts to add a new VPN configuration through the Settings app or via programmatic configuration profiles are unresponsive.
As VPN functionality is essential for a number of development and enterprise use cases, I would appreciate it if your team could confirm whether this is a known issue, or provide guidance on any changes to VPN configuration handling in iOS 26.
Please let me know if additional diagnostic information or logs would be helpful.
Thank you for your support and for providing access to the iOS 26 beta.
Best regards,
Majid

My account has been active and in good standing for the past 2 years, and during this time I have never received any warnings or issues.
Recently, after Apple reviewed my account, I received a notification about possible termination. After carefully reviewing the situation myself, I realized what may have caused this:
I originally registered my Apple Developer account as an Individual Developer Account,
However, the bank account used for App Store payments belongs to my registered company,
At the time, I was not aware that the legal entity of the bank account must match the Apple Developer account registration.
This was not done with any intention to misrepresent or misuse the platform. It was simply a misunderstanding of the account requirements.
We have never deceived our users or the Apple Review Team in any way. For us as developers, providing an excellent user experience has always been our top priority, and we have always aimed to follow Apple’s review and compliance standards closely. We sincerely hope that, given our situation, the Apple Review Team could grant us an opportunity to correct these issues.
Hi everyone,
my Digital Services Act (DSA) status in App Store Connect has been “In Review” for over a week. Is this normal?
The app is already available in 178 countries, but it can’t be released in the EU (my home market) solely because this DSA isn’t approved yet.
How long did it take for you?
Is there anything that helps speed up the DSA review?
Thanks for any insights.

I’m experiencing an issue on macOS Tahoe (Developer Beta, July 2025) related to the new “Allow in Menu Bar” section in System Settings.
After uninstalling the application Backdrop (developer: Cindori), the entry com.cindori.Backdrop.Wallpaper still appears in the list of apps allowed to show in the menu bar, even though:
— The app and all its associated files have been fully deleted.
— The LaunchAgents files in ~/Library/LaunchAgents and /Library/LaunchAgents have been removed.
— Preferences have been deleted via defaults delete com.cindori.Backdrop and defaults delete com.cindori.Backdrop.Wallpaper.
— The system has been restarted.
It seems the “Allow in Menu Bar” section keeps phantom references to apps or agents even after complete cleanup.
Could you please confirm if this is expected behavior (perhaps for future reactivation) or a bug?
Is there any official method or recommended command to permanently remove such residual entries from this list?
Thank you very much for your help and clarifications.

I have developed three apps using the Screen Time API. The following are common problems I encountered in the three apps:
DeviceActivityMonitorExtension is automatically killed after running for a few days (frequently)
The same DeviceActivityEvent in DeviceActivityMonitorExtension is triggered twice during eventDidReachThreshold (especially obvious in iOS18.5)
Screen Time authorization is automatically canceled for no reason (occasionally)
I hope to get help
I'm trying to understand how UIDevice.current.identifierForVendor behaves when an iOS app is restored via iCloud onto a different physical device.
Context
I'm building an app that needs to detect whether it’s running on a newly restored device (for example, after the user transfers their iPhone via iCloud setup).
To do this, I save the value of UIDevice.current.identifierForVendor?.uuidString in persistent storage (e.g., UserDefaults).
The question
If I install my app on Device A, store the identifierForVendor value, back up the device to iCloud,
and then restore that backup onto Device B, will the restored app see the same identifierForVendor value, or a new one?
More specifically:
Does iCloud backup/restore preserve the underlying “vendor” ID across devices?
Is the identifierForVendor tied only to the bundle identifier and vendor prefix, or also to the physical device hardware?
If the user deletes all apps from the same vendor, then restores them from iCloud, is the ID reset?
What I’ve found so far
Apple’s docs say:
“The value of this property is the same for apps that come from the same vendor running on the same device.
If the user deletes all of that vendor’s apps from the device and then reinstalls one or more of them, the value may change.”
However, it doesn’t explicitly mention what happens after iCloud restore onto a new device.
Goal
I want to know if it’s safe to use identifierForVendor to detect a new device context (e.g., trigger a refresh of a Firebase token when the user’s device changes).
Environment
iOS 17+ (latest)
Swift / Capacitor app bridge
Testing between iPhone 14 Pro → iPhone 15 Pro (iCloud restore)
Hello,
In my App.xcdatamodeld I have an entity called File.
When I am building the project with Xcode, file FileEntity+CoreDataProperties.swift is generated.
After upgrading Xcode to version 26.0 (17A324), I am getting the warning:
Public import of 'CoreData' was not used in public declarations or inlinable code
Any idea how to get rid of this warning since it's a generated file and I can't see any option to change it?

With ios 26 the chapter images are not updating anymore. At first I thought this is carlay related but it also occures when the phone is connected only through USB or bluetooth to play a podcast. I tried Apple podcasts and other apps like Pocketcast or audible. Same problem. The phone shows the correct chapter image while my car shows the inital image all the time. Even tried a different car :-)
I checked focus and settings but found nothing related.
With ios18 everything works fine.
Any ideas?
So I downloaded and installed iOS26 on my iPhone 15 Pro and after that it does not want to boot anymore. It shows a battery with one red line. Which is weird because before it restarted it had 80% of the battery and I had the power cable connected at all time. Now I can't boot it up anymore. Not even with the volume button up, down, power button trick. Please help!
since updating from 18.3 to 18.4, both on cellular and WiFi Networks I can’t connect to the internet.
Since the phone wont connect to the internet I’m not able to turn off “find my iPhone“ to restore my iPhone to iOS 18.3
this way my iPhone is useless
any ideas / thoughts about this?

Hello Apple Developer Community,
I'm hoping someone can advise me on a serious issue. Our organization's Apple Developer Program account has been effectively locked because our Account Holder's Apple ID is inaccessible. I need to unlock that Apple ID so we can manage our apps.
I've already reached out to Apple Developer Support, but so far, I haven't received a response. This situation is critical because our clients rely on us to maintain and update our apps.
Key details (some info is masked for privacy): • We're enrolled as an Organization/Company. • The current Account Holder's Apple ID is locked and cannot perform any actions. • No other accounts have admin access.
If anyone has encountered a similar issue or knows a more efficient route to escalate, I'd be extremely grateful for your insights.
Thanks in advance for any advice you can share. This is critical to our organization, and we'd appreciate any pointers on how to navigate or expedite the support process.

Hello,
My developer account was closed last week. In a conversation with Apple support, I was informed that the account was closed due to “inactivity”, but the account has always been in regular use and I was preparing to release an app last week.
Now all my work is at a standstill because the account is “Acount Holder” and Apple Turkey Support team states that this account will never be reopened and that there is no support service for Developer account in Turkey. I asked for support for the Developer account globally, but they couldn't find it either.
What can I do about this? My account was not inactive and I was constantly testing my apps via testflight and I submitted the latest version last week. Which department should I contact?

System data is beyond a joke now.
There constant logs being generated and stored somewhere with zero access and ability to delete or clear up. I’ve even tried changing the date hack, however this just created some space from system but mostly just unloaded my apps (a feature which I’ve now disabled, as virtually everything is unloaded now apart from essential items).
Apple support says wipe and start again, I’m sure that’s not a solution? Anyone figured out how to resolve this?
Also you can’t even force videos into the cloud, frustrating when I’ve got no space and pay for iCloud and have zero space left on my phone. It’s suppose to be intelligent.

After updating to the newest beta on my iPhone 16 I'm stuck on this screen after accepting the terms:
No Internet Connection
Setup and activation of Apple Intelligence is unavailable when your device is offline. Connect to the internet and try again.
I tried several different networks and 5G but no luck..
As developers of an app with a free basic version and a paid premium version, we recently received a malicious review on our premium app. The review falsely accused our app of being a scam and baselessly claimed it was error-ridden. This comment is clearly malicious and designed to dissuade other users from purchasing our app. The most critical point is that we haven’t had any sales records in that region recently.
In response to this review, we promptly contacted Apple Support but received only a generic, templated response stating that no action would be taken. We followed up with another complaint about the review, but it was still dismissed. Apple Support provided a link to their guidelines, and within those guidelines, we found specific clauses that Apple should act upon in cases like this. We sent another email pointing this out, but we’ve received no response since.
It feels like developers are left defenseless against such malicious reviews. When we face these attacks, there’s no fair judgment, and Apple doesn’t uphold the very policies it has set to protect developers’ rights. If this continues, how can developers trust this platform to safeguard their basic interests?

So, I started with the developer beta on Tahoe a couple months ago. I gave the new Apps.app a fair shot.... I HATE it. Finally used a terminal work around to get Launchpad back up and running. Now with the release of the Public Beta and Developer Beta 5, Apple has nerfed the Launchpad.app altogether. Apple, listen to your customers. Yes some people really love spotlight but not everyone wants to scroll through a list of apps as long as my leg because, my PTSD brain won't let me remember the name of the app to type into spotlight. The Launchpad app had a great visual reference for those of us with poor memory function. Bring it back, and let your customers choose which one they want to use.
