Hi all, I’m trying to add a file to a game on my iPhone via my MacBook. Now we have no iTunes connecting with the cable brings up the same menus however I’m being told I have to reset my iPhone back to factory settings to do this (see attached). I’m on IOS26 beta 6. A couple of questions
I’ve backed up via iCloud, if I reset would I be able to reset it right back to my current set up with the beta, would I lose anything?
Is there another way to connect to my
MacBook to enable access to the games and files that would allow me to do a minor change without having to reset?

I’m building a Swift Playgrounds app (.swiftpm) in Xcode 26.2 and I consistently see this warning, even on brand-new Swift Playgrounds apps created from the default template:
“Skipping duplicate build file in Compile Sources build phase:
/Users/.../.swiftpm/Media.xcassets”
Everything builds and runs normally and all images/assets appear correctly, so it seems like it’s just an annoying warning.
I’ve checked for duplicates and don’t see the asset catalog listed twice, but the warning still appears whenever I add an asset catalog to any playground project in Xcode.
Is this warning safe to ignore for submission, and it won’t affect Swift Student Challenge eligibility?
Hello guys,
We have updated our app icon, and it is correctly reflected in our app build and assets. However, the push notification icon is still displaying the old version for some users.
✅ We have verified that:
All icon assets in Assets.xcassets match the new icon.
The app icon has been updated in Info.plist.
The app has been resubmitted and approved on the App Store.
❌ However, some users still see the old notification icon, even after reinstalling the app. Restarting the device does not always resolve the issue.
Could you provide insights into how iOS caches notification icons and how we can force a refresh for all users?
After updating the Xcode 26, defined universal links are not working in the iOS simulator. In the configuration, we have verified all the things including AASA file hosting and domain configuration. It is working properly in the real devices. Issue occurring only for Simulators.
How can I debug it in the simulators to validate this ?
Xcode Version: 26.1
Simulator iOS: 26.1

I have developed three apps using the Screen Time API. The following are common problems I encountered in the three apps:
DeviceActivityMonitorExtension is automatically killed after running for a few days (frequently)
The same DeviceActivityEvent in DeviceActivityMonitorExtension is triggered twice during eventDidReachThreshold (especially obvious in iOS18.5)
Screen Time authorization is automatically canceled for no reason (occasionally)
I hope to get help
Unknown error during Developer Program Enrollment
I've been attempting to enroll in the Apple Developer Program since mid-October 2025, but I consistently receive an "Unknown Error - Please try again" dialog

I applied for the Apple Developer Program on January 31, 2026, and as of today (February 5, 2026), my enrollment is still showing as Pending.
The payment was completed successfully at the time of application. Since then:
I have not received any requests for additional documents or verification.
I have contacted Apple Developer Support twice, but have not received any response so far.
I understand processing times can vary, but the lack of response from support is concerning.
Has anyone else experienced similar delays recently?
Is there any recommended escalation path or alternative way to reach the Developer Support team?
Any guidance would be greatly appreciated, as this delay is impacting my app release timeline.
Thank you.
My app has a menu called "Document". On Tahoe, this appears as a lightbulb icon.
Is this deliberate? Is it possible to stop this? Or do I just have to use a different name if I want people to read words?
Just did an update from MacOS 26b1 to b2 and now the Mail app crashes on launch (Thread 0 - something to do with fonts and the webkit.
Happens every time on launch of the Mail app.

Hello,
I'm having a serious problem registering for the Apple Developer Program, and I can't resolve it.
I applied over two weeks ago, but I still haven't received an activation email. I've also tried using different credit cards, suspecting there might be a problem with my payment method.
The main issues are as follows:
My order/registration remains in the "processing" status,
I haven't received an activation email,
Apple Developer Program support isn't responding.
I've already sent over seven emails to support, but haven't received any response or updates.
Has anyone else encountered a similar situation?

Hi Guys!
I’ve been encountering some issues while testing the latest iOS beta.
Is anyone else experiencing similar bugs?
Test environment:
Device enrolled in iOS 26 Beta since June 9th, 5:00 PM (BRT)
Hardware-related issues:
• The device is overheating during routine tasks, especially when screen brightness is set to maximum.
• Battery life has dropped significantly — approximately 20% to 30% shorter compared to iOS 18.5
UX/UI issues:
• Scrollbars occasionally behave erratically in some apps — scrolling leads to empty areas or becomes unresponsive.
• When opening a new tab in Safari, the app sometimes freezes and requires a force restart.
• The Control Center is difficult to interact with due to excessive transparency, which gives the impression that the icons are scattered without visual hierarchy.

«Hello everyone, after installing iOS 26, I noticed that on my iPhone 13 Pro, which had its battery replaced, the battery status in the settings shows 0%, and the phone does not charge more than 1%, no matter how long I leave it plugged in. The same problem is observed on iPhones 14 and lower where the battery (FB18154101) was replaced.»

To whoever is bothered enough to help (trust me, I get the feeling if you're not), I want to enter the swift student challenge either this year or next year, depending on how things play out.
Anyway, I just wanted to know two things: 1) how long on average it takes to build a project which won distinguished winner and 2) whether any distinguished winners could send me the playgrounds they built.
To be clear, I do not want the code, I just want to know what you did, what you called the playground, a list of some features it had, how long it took, just to help me prepare, because YouTube doesn't have much of that.
Thanks :)
👋Hi,
I want to ask what equipment the auditors in SSC will use to evaluate students' playground, whether it is iPad pro and mac with camera, or something else. And what system will they use, iPadOS/macOS 26 or something else? Looking forward to your reply.
Thank you

Hi everyone,
I’m not sure if this is the right place for it, but I wanted to share a bit of my background and ask for advice from developers who’ve been in the industry longer than me.
I started learning to make games when I was a kid using Game Maker.
Later I got into Unity and even worked a few years as a solo developer for small startups — building Unity apps, VR projects, AR demos, websites, servers, everything.
But I never had a real team, never had mentorship, and none of the projects I worked on ever reached production or real users.
Life changed and I moved to the US, where I had to switch careers completely.
Now I’m trying to come back to software development, but I’m struggling with a feeling that I’m “not good enough” anymore.
The tech world has moved so fast, and companies like OpenAI, Meta, Epic, etc., feel way out of reach.
So my question to the community is:
How did you get started in your career?
Did you ever feel like you weren’t good enough?
How did you push through that and continue improving?
Any honest advice would help a lot.
Thanks.
I’m concerned because my iCloud account was recently migrated to AWS (Amazon Web Service) against my will, and now it seems.like people are rummaging through my files, photos, and mail, When I try to contact Apple Support, I get bumped to a spoofed site. Calling the hotline is the same, I get a Siri operator with platitudes and gaslighting but no action. I have run sysdiagnose and it looks really sketchy.
Can anyone help?
I downloaded Xcode Beta 26 and built the POS code repository project. However, an error appeared: unable to find the module dependency 'minizip'. No changes have been made to the repository since upgrading to iOS 18.0. Is this a new issue with Xcode 26, and what are the resolution steps?

I'm totally baffled by the changes Apple made on iOS18 about certificates usage in the built-in mail application.
They decided that self-signed are not accepted any more, fine. As long as you can install your own root CA and trust it, it should be fine.
But NO! They have also decided that mail will only accept IMAP servers using a domain name, no more just and IP address. So you can't get any IP-based certificate that will be accepted by the mail app, even with the right SAN and al.
I've tried two "identical" certs, one with a domain and one with an IP and the domain works while the IP fails, being rejected as non-valid by the app. The most funny part is that the IP cert is good enough to configure mail (can see the successful login), but is being rejected when reading emails.
I'm really fed up with the "Apple police" that wants to push us not using our own storage anymore. My se case is simple, I have an IMAP server that is used by family to archive all emails and keep them organized, saved forever and away from being scanned.
I need to access that server either when locally connected or through VPN. For VPN, I use split tunnels because I don't want all traffic to go to tunnel. Nor do I want to create my own local DNS server and have all VPN clients use such DNS server only for the sake of having a domain name for the IMAP server. Nor do I want to open an external port to redirect to my IMAP server (that works of course as then I can use DDNS ...). Talk about increased security!
This is insane
since updating from 18.3 to 18.4, both on cellular and WiFi Networks I can’t connect to the internet.
Since the phone wont connect to the internet I’m not able to turn off “find my iPhone“ to restore my iPhone to iOS 18.3
this way my iPhone is useless
any ideas / thoughts about this?
System data is beyond a joke now.
There constant logs being generated and stored somewhere with zero access and ability to delete or clear up. I’ve even tried changing the date hack, however this just created some space from system but mostly just unloaded my apps (a feature which I’ve now disabled, as virtually everything is unloaded now apart from essential items).
Apple support says wipe and start again, I’m sure that’s not a solution? Anyone figured out how to resolve this?
Also you can’t even force videos into the cloud, frustrating when I’ve got no space and pay for iCloud and have zero space left on my phone. It’s suppose to be intelligent.
