I'm running IOS 18.5 on my iPhone 16 Pro Max. If I delete an email on my iPhone, it is still in the inbox on my iMac. If I delete an email on my iMac it is deleted from the inbox on my iPhone. Is this because of the Beta software on my phone?

Hello all, We are in the process of deploying EAP-TLS Wi-Fi authentication across our corporate environment for both Windows and macOS devices. All endpoints are managed via Workspace ONE. As part of our macOS configuration, we are pushing device certificates to the login keychain of managed MacBooks. For testing purposes, we have explicitly set the Access Control List (ACL) of the associated private key to allow all applications access. This includes: eapolclient, which handles the EAP-TLS handshake for Wi-Fi panGPS, which is responsible for establishing the GlobalProtect VPN connection (we are using certificate-based authentication with pre-logon enabled) Additionally, we have configured and deployed a Wi-Fi profile via Workspace ONE to prevent users from having to manually select their device certificate - basically the identity preference card in Keychain Access. Despite these settings, we are still encountering Keychain Access prompts when eapolclient attempts to access the private key. This happens even though the key is configured to allow all applications access. This behavior is unexpected, and we’re trying to understand why these prompts persist. Has anyone encountered similar behavior on macOS, or is there something we're missing in terms of permissions or keychain configuration that could be causing this? Now I can't check for updates. Write connection error and checking for updates. I can't roll back to 18.5. It gives an error through the computer. Please help. Thank you in advance.

I just upgraded to iOS 26.0 Now when I use car play, the text messages do not show up, only the notification tone on my phone alarms. So now when I get texts while driving, I need to read my phone to read the text. I tried all the solutions within settings but this is a BIG DRAWBACK compared to the old iOS.

Hi everyone, It’s been almost three weeks, and I’m still waiting for a reply about my subscription to the Apple Developer Program, but I haven’t received anything. I replied to the email three days ago and got no response. I tried again by requesting the subscription two days ago, but all I received was an automated message saying they would reply within two business days. What I did exactly: I went to my Apple Developer account, clicked on Subscriptions, and entered my card details. They sent me an email saying they are preparing my order, but nothing else. I just realized thaty I had signed up for this developer account some time ago without making any meaningful attempt to introduce myself other than attending a few of the Apple meetups at NeurIPS and ICML conferences. As a quick introduction I come from a background in open source development, most notably associated with the "Automunge" python library for dataframe encodings / missing data infill. I also have some background supporting Apple in context of volunteering as an executive officer for an IEEE Standards Association working group developing floating point arithmetic / data types for machine learning. Beyond that have been a dedicated user with frequent product feedback to various channels over the years. I am currently self employed and focussing on building an IP portfolio and investing. It works if Bluetooth is on for a long time, is there any problem? I'm developing an app using beacon and Bluetooth, and I have to operate the app in the background, and after spending the weekend, I have to detect the beacon and revive the app. I can see that there is an app in the background, but the app is not coming back to life. How can I solve this problem? Or is the OS team working on something to block it? The test model is Iphone16Plus.

Hello. On iOS 26 Public Beta I can’t seem to find the feature to delete a contact picture from the contacts app. It seems I can only replace but not delete. Is this just my problem?

We are currently listening to App Store Server Notifications V2 and have encountered an issue with notification ordering. Specifically, there are instances where Apple sends the DID_CHANGE_RENEWAL_STATUS notification before the INITIAL_BUY notification. This leads to a situation where we are unable to process the cancellation of a transaction that is unknown to us at the time of the renewal status change. Could you please clarify why this occurs? I have been trying since January to get myself enrolled in the Apple Developer program. I’ve called customer support, I’ve sent emails, I’ve plead and begged and no avail. First I registered and I was not aware there would be such a steep price point. I couldn’t afford it so I got these emails — then later when I try to re-enroll, it asks me to verify my identity, which I did with my state issued id. So it says I can’t continue. I email and ask why and get this back.. So I call and someone named Mallory who assures me she’s the highest point of escalation under Steve Jobs tells me there is nothing anyone can do, she can’t tell me why it’s not allowed but it’s just not and I’m screwed, then hangs up on me and sends this - and my most recent attempts to continue support just get met with a “We can’t cont your enrollment at this time for one or more reasons”. So I have decided to post every day, every where, as much as possible until someone from Apple corrects this. I can’t seem to get help otherwise.

Noob Software has been working on a new programming language designed primarily for mac development, with a syntax similar to PHP and some aspects from JavaScript. To demonstrate this language i've released the code for one of my apps "Noob Music" https://github.com/noobsoftware/NoobMusic3 i would like to hear if people are interested in using this programming language. I think there are many benefits to the high level syntax and high level thinking, and not having to define datatypes and such. The language also supports multithreading using the "async" keyword prefixed in front of the function keyword, like you would do in JavaScript only with multithreading instead of interleaved processing. Pushing to array is threadsafe and some other functinonality as well and it is recommended to use a new class instance within each async function. I have relied heavily on using webviews for UI so there is a layout engine i have developed for native view elements in Cocoa which at this point ar primarily WebViews. The webviews can define a callback function to receive messages from JavaScript, so combining these methods you get a full fledged "web" development feeling for mac development, with HTML+CSS+JavaScript and NoobScript

For 9 Glorious Months, My MacBook Pro & J5 Create JCD543 HUB Were Best Friends… Until I Updated macOS For nearly a year, my MacBook Pro 14” (2023, M2 Pro, 16GB RAM) worked flawlessly with my J5 Create JCD543 HUB, allowing me to run: ✅ 4 External Displays (Samsung, LG, Insignia, Samsung) A setup that worked perfectly… until I updated macOS. Then Came the Update… and the Issues Began First, I updated last week. Two of my four displays stopped working. No big deal, I thought—I’ve dealt with display quirks before. Then, like an optimist ignoring red flags, I updated again last night to 15.4 Beta (24E5222f) and… well, now things are completely broken. My Once-Perfect Setup (Now a Display Disaster) JCD543 HUB → 2 HDMI displays (not working) JUD380 HUB → 1 HDMI display (partially working, unstable) MacBook HDMI port → 1 HDMI display (working, but feeling abandoned) JCA365 USB-C to Dual HDMI Adapter (Not part of my setup, but tested—also not working) What I’ve Tried (aka My Troubleshooting Journey) ✔ Restarted my Mac multiple times ✔ Uninstalled and reinstalled J5 drivers ✔ Swapped cables, unplugged/replugged everything, tested known-working HDMI cables (they work fine on other devices) ✔ Deleted /Library/Preferences/com.apple.windowserver.displays.plist (this fixed a similar issue in the past, but the file no longer exists in this update) The Likely Culprit? It seems to be a J5 driver issue triggered by the macOS update—and I’m not alone. Others are reporting similar problems. Apple… Any Fixes? I just want my four screens back. The setup worked flawlessly for 9 months, so it’s hard to believe it was never meant to work. If anyone has a workaround, I’m open to testing any solution—whether it’s a driver update, system tweak, or hidden macOS setting that might bring my displays back to life. I'm near my wit's end. My school district's developer application has been "pending" for nearly 4 months. Every time I call, which is every couple of weeks or so, I'm told the department reviewing the application cannot be contacted and that they will "escalate it." Apparently, this other department doesn't even have a phone number. Does anyone have any idea why it would be taking this long? They have all our documentation. Absolutely zero communication unless I call. PLEASE HELP!

Installed update on Monday night and since then keep losing Network connection despite resettting Network connections and iphone. Comes back for a short time after rsetting then is lost with nothing showing under Mobile Service.

I found a glitch when you click on Phone and contacts the search bar is gone. You have to from the Home page click on contacts and the search bar is there.

I upgraded my macOS to 13.7.5 and since then I cannot open Adobe InDesing on my iMac. I contacted Adobe Support to assist with the issue and they couldn't find any solution from their side. Probably the update is not compatible? Is there a way I can solve this issue? Or remove the beta version from my system?

I’d like to create a button on my iPhone Home Screen that changes settings if I am using an external lens mounted to my phone. This is what I have along with notes on what I hope to do. But it does not work. I am only able to open either the camera settings or the camera preserve settings but nothing will toggle macro controls. Hi all, Im trying tu publish an app for iOS and I get it rejected by the lack of this privacy manifest, but unless I understood this wrong, this manifest is needed for external tools used, or maybe Im wrong, Im publishing an app made in Unity, so in this case, one has to include a privacy manifest by default? Sorry Im lost in all these terms, so I don't know if im asking something redundant, if you know how to fix this issue please tell me or direct me to the process because I haven't been able to identify the issue.
