The device UDID was registered to the developer account 40 hours ago, the STATUS column was "processing" in the first 24 hours, then turned to empty.
But I still can't run my app (with distribution method "development"), when I try to run it after download it through my OTA URL, it prompts “the app cannot be installed because its integrity could not be verified” but everything runs good on a iPhone which was registered a month ago.
What should I do now? keep waiting?

My iOS version of the app is available on the App Store with a non-team ID prefix for its bundle ID. It has been available there for a long time and I am not sure why I chose a custom prefix for it.
The Mac version of the same app is available on the Mac App Store with a different bundle ID and with a prefix that matches my team ID.
I am currently looking to "merge" both apps into a single bundle ID. The plan is to stop using the current Mac app and release a new one as a universal app under the existing bundle ID for the iOS app.
Unfortunately, it looks like that the Mac App Store does not actually allow any submissions that have a non-team ID for a prefix.
I know that it is a very specific case but any suggestions would be welcomed.

Hi all,
I'm a solo iOS developer trying to update an app I released in 2010. My current Team ID is Q37598Q8GE, but the app's original App ID uses an old prefix, YHX995W43P.
When I try to create a new App ID with the original Bundle ID (eu.andela.woordenes) to generate a new distribution provisioning profile, I get the error:An attribute in the provided entity has invalid value An App ID with Identifier 'eu.andela.woordenes' is not available. Please enter a different string. I understand this might be due to the old prefix from pre-2011, when Apple allowed multiple prefixes per account.
I still have access to the app in App Store Connect and want to push an update, not create a new app. How can I resolve this? Can I reuse the existing App ID (eu.andela.woordenes with prefix YHX995W43P) for a new provisioning profile, or do I need to match my current Team ID (Q37598Q8GE)?
If the Bundle ID is already taken by my current app, how do I update the app without changing the Bundle ID? Any steps to fix the prefix mismatch in Xcode or App Store Connect?

I am receiving an entitlement error from stripe terminal SDK when integrating Tap to Pay from apple in the info.plist.
Im hoping that someone can give me their input on my error output rather than diving into the stripe sdk to point me in the right direction of something I may have missed with entitlements.
I have been approved for tap to pay entitlement and am following the instructions here from apple: https://developer.apple.com/documentation/proximityreader/setting-up-the-entitlement-for-tap-to-pay-on-iphone

Hey there,
I'm experiencing an issue with notarization of my macOS application, which is blocking a release.
We have signing/notarization hooked up to our CI process, both for prior releases as well as development builds (at the trunk tip). The notarization process has typically taken anywhere from a few minutes to a few tens of minutes, but for our most recent release, it's taking an unreasonably long time.
I've compiled the submission info for each build (+ reattempted notarizations) below. What's interesting is that the oldest one was accepted- however, it timed out our CI process, so we never actually released it.
Subsequent builds are more or less identical in terms of their content, however, they've been stewing in the notarization process for over 13 hours in some cases.

It's interesting to me that the notarization process is taking this long. We've notarized many development builds (with debugging flags enabled) in the time between our last public release and our attempt to notarize this one. What's more, the original build for this release was notarized within the span of about 15 minutes, but subsequent submissions of the same build have hung for tens of hours.
My two questions are:
How can I get our pending notarizations "unstuck"?, and
To prevent these types of hangs in the future, should I also routinely build/sign/notarize non-debug builds of my application during the development process?
Best regards and many thanks,
Charlton
My app uses a Provisioning Profile (as it bundles up a Network System Extension). I do not use "Automatically manage signing" as its causes code signing/deployment issues 🤷♂️
In Xcode (version 26), if I enable "
Enhanced Security" and check "Enable Hardware Memory Tagging", Xcode states:
Provisioning profile "<>" doesn't include the com.apple.security.hardened-process.checked-allocations and com.apple.security.hardened-process.checked-allocations.soft-mode entitlements.
Normally to resolve such errors one simply adds the Capability in "Edit your App ID Configuration" and then regenerates the Provisioning Profile.
However, I don't see any such capability to would add these entitlements? (I thought "Hardened Process" would be the one - but alas, no).
Clicking the "for more information" link in Xcode to view the relevant(?) "Apple Developer Documentation" generates another error 😵💫
Didn't see anything in: https://developer.apple.com/documentation/xcode/enabling-enhanced-security-for-your-app

Hi,
after 2 years of not updating my app on appstore i wanted to submit an update for my iOS app which also containts a watch app target.
When i try to submit it to upload it i get the following errors:
Failed registering bundle identifier
The app identifier "(myappBundleID).watchkitapp" cannot be registered to your development team because it is nit available. Change your bundle identifier to a unique string to try again.
No Profiles for "(myappBundleID).watchkitapp" were found.
Xcode culdn't find any iOS App Store provisining profiles matching "(myappBundleID).watchkitapp"
Since i have my app already in store with that bundle identifier i don't know why it can not be registered to my team. Also i don't want to change the bundle identifier because then i can not publish it as update to store.
Hi - appreciate your help in advance!
Building a simple habit tracking app.
I got approval for FamilyControls distribution.
After creating a new provisioning profile with those capabilities enabled, when I try and build in xcode (16.4) using that Profile I get an error stating:
"Provisioning profile "CreateMoreFamilyControlsv2" doesn't include the com.apple.developer.deviceactivity and com.apple.developer.deviceactivity.reporting entitlements"
I've confirmed bundle identifier matches, Team etc
Similarly when i do automatic signing see 3rd screenshot.
Not sure what to do at this point, I've heard deviceActivity is automatically applied when family controls is approved but still running into this issue.
Hi,
I just released a new version of an app that was transferred from another developer account.
The previous version of this app used the App Groups feature to store some important data, and I would like to retrieve that data.
In the new version, I’m using the same bundle identifier and the same App Group ID (which has already been deleted from the original developer account). I also added the App Groups entitlement in the project settings and set the same App Group ID. However, I still cannot access the data in the App Group.
From the documentation and issues I’ve found, it seems that an app should still have permission to access the same App Group after being transferred.
Did I miss something?
Thanks!

Provisioning Profiles
Since around September (iOS 26 release), i'm unable to test my app normally. It says "internet connection is required to verify [my certificate id]", or just crashing. All terms and conditions accepted, everything is valid, certificates are OK.
Reinstallation via xcode does not help. Removal of provisioning profile, generating new does not help. Revoking of certificate and generating new does for around week, then it happens again, but do i need to do it every week now?
In logs i see the following:
default amfid validation failed because of missing trust and/or authorization (0xe8008026)
error amfid not valid: 0xe8008026: The provisioning profile requires online authorization.
error amfid Unexpected MISError (0xe8008026): The provisioning profile requires online authorization.

default kernel AMFI: code signature validation failed.
It looks like apple validation servers are not working, or is it iOS bug? All provisioning profiles are showing like "valid" in apple developer center.
My network is not behind a proxy, connection is direct.
If use EXACTLY the same app, signed with the same provisioning, same signature, on another test device, it works!
When i reset current device to default settings and installing the EXACTLY same app after it, it works as well.
Looking for a help from apple developer support
I had submitted my app for notarization and it shows the below error -
"status": "Rejected",
"statusSummary": "Team is not yet configured for notarization. Please contact Developer Programs Support at developer.apple.com under the topic Development and Technical / Other Development or Technical Questions.",
"statusCode": 7000,
I have raised a ticket in the support but no reply yet.
Kindly help ASAP
Hello Apple Support,
While attempting to staple a notarization ticket for our signed installer package, the stapler command fails with Error 65. Upon investigation, we found that connections to oscdn.apple.com present an SSL certificate issued to a248.e.akamai.net, which does not include oscdn.apple.com in its Subject Alternative Name (SAN).
This mismatch prevents our macOS environment from validating tickets and completing the stapling process.
Steps tried:
Verified notarization status (Accepted).
DNS flushed, tried different DNS (8.8.8.8, 1.1.1.1).
curl to oscdn.apple.com consistently fails with SSL error 60.
Please advise on resolving this certificate mismatch.
also when I try to run the stapler command with my pkg
"xcrun stapler staple/Users/mactest/Desktop/IPMPlus_Macos_Installer.signed.pkg"
getting the output like :-
Processing: /Users/mactest/Desktop/IPMPlus_Macos_Installer.signed.pkg
Could not validate ticket for /Users/mac-test/Desktop/IPMPlus_Macos_Installer.signed.pkg
The staple and validate action failed! Error 65.
please help
Thank you.
Hello,
Recently our team requested the "Notification (NSE) filtering" capability. Our request was rejected but we sent a new request with a more detailed explanation of our need.
However if we go check the status of the request in the Capability Requests tab the status is "No requests". We sent the new request yesterday.
Is it even possible to request a capability after a rejected request? We really need the capability and the absence of it is blocking our progress.

I made a macOS application using Swift Package and distributed it in dmg format through Apple Notary service. However, we received a report from a user that it can be launched from a disk image mounted from dmg, but when copied to /Applications, the app is broken and does not start.
I looked into why this happened, I noticed that the codesign command returned different results when copying the application bundle and /Applications on the volume mounted dmg with Finder.
Mounted dmg: OK

Copied by Finder: Bad

Copied by ditto: OK

I made a simple macOS application to explain this problem in an easy-to-understand way. You can download dmg in github releases, mount dmg, copy it in the Finder, and check if there is a problem by running the codesign command.
https://github.com/mtgto/example-utf8-mac-notarization
As a result, I learned the following two things.
Occurs only with resources with file names whose values change due to NFC/NFD normalization
No problems occur with the resources of the application itself. Generated by the Swift Package resources that the application depends on
I think this is a problem with Finder or Gatekeeper.

In Swift I'm using unzip by launching a Process to unzip a file.
I added a launchRequirement to the process in order to make sure the executable is code signed by Apple and the identifier is com.apple.unzip. After testing out my code on another machines (both physical and virtual), I found out that in some the identifier is actually com.apple.zipinfo, which broke the SigningIdentifier requirement.
It's safe to assume that /usr/bin/unzip can be trusted since it's in a System Integrity Protection (SIP) location, but I'm wondering why this executable has different identifiers?
I am trying to distribute my Unity app to test flight.
Build works on iPhone locally, archiving also works but when I start distribution to test flight I get this Error
codesign command failed (/var/folders/gn/ql1bht8j2z7b18b3xtt0j7rr0000gn/T/XcodeDistPipeline.~~~2gmyFJ/Root/Payload/TondoJigsaw2.app/Frameworks/UnityFramework.framework: replacing existing signature

Requirement syntax error(s):
line 1:152: unexpected token: sQuaricon
)
I am not sure what is the problem
Team name is: “sQuaricon” Name Surname s.p.
Bundle ID is: com.Squaricon.TondoJigsaw2
When I change bundle ID to com.testasd.TondoJigsaw2 (I do this in Xcode before archiving) that error disappears and I reach the part where I have to pick language. Even though this is not the solution, I think it is interesting, it implies issue might be with Bundle ID but this bundle ID is correct.
I am using "automatically manage signing", I did not create any provisioning profile or certificate manually.

Hi,
I've code-signed my app and notarized it, and created a DMG, and when I slacked it or airdropped it to someone for testing the FIRST time they open it, they get a warning that it was Slacked or airdropped to them and do they want to open it. if they say yes everything is fine. So looking through here someone said I need to sign the app and then make a dmg and sign the dmg and then send that for notorization and then staple that. So I did, and I still get a warning the first tie someone try's to run it.
What am I doing wrong? I know I can buy software and not get a warning from apple. so how do I get my app to work correctly like that?
Hello,
In our Account we have an iOS app with an explicit identifier "ABC123.com.some.app" that is using non-team prefix which is DEF456. It has also explicit identifiers for Widgets bundle and Notification Service.
Due to non-team prefix, it can't access e.g. shared keychain and data put there by our other apps. Since we are working on features that require these capabilities, we would like to update the app identifier, so it is prefixed with our team id DEF456.
Initially, we thought that the process would require steps like:
Create new app, team-prefixed identifier(s) for app and all things that need them
Recreate the provisioning profiles with new App Identifier
Roll out the app using with new profiles via App Store
but when trying to create the new identifier with com.some.app and team id prefix DEF456 we are getting following error:
An App ID with Identifier com.some.app is not available. Please enter a different string.
Can anybody advise us how to correctly perform such change and what steps are required from our end?
We would like to keep our existing App Store entry, ratings and smoothly switch users. We are aware that this kind of migration results in loss of Keychain access.
Thanks for any advice on that!
I'm trying to get an app notarized, which fails with this error:
The signature of the binary is invalid.
However, locally checking the signature does succeed:
$ codesign -vvv --deep --strict TheApp.app
[…]
TheApp.app: valid on disk
TheApp.app: satisfies its Designated Requirement
Performing this check on every single item in the app's MacOS folder also succeeds.
Context: embedded prebuilt binaries
Now, the app has something unusual about it: it embeds prebuilt binaries, arranged in various nested folders. So, the app bundle's MacOS folder actually contains another folder with a whole tree of executables and libraries:
Removing these (before building) does fix the notarization issue, but obviously I'd like to keep them in.
I did my best to properly sign these items:
At build time, they're copied into the product by a Copy Files phase (but not signed), then signed by a script phase
That signing uses the same signing identity as the running Xcode build, and enables the hardened runtime
The app builds and runs correctly, even as a release build
The app has runtime hardening and app sandbox enabled
How should I go about diagnosing the notarization issue?
