Hi everyone,
After my app was initially rejected, all my IAPs now show the status “Developer Action Needed.” There’s nothing I need to change on them — they were just returned because it was the first submission and the app itself was rejected.
Do I need to do anything with the IAPs before I resubmit, or will they still be attached and reviewed automatically with the next binary? I’ve seen conflicting answers, so I’d like to confirm the correct process.

I am shown as being subscribed to our service in the Subscriptions list in settings yet when going to the Storekit2 page in my app it shows me as NOT being subscribed and is unresponsive. I select Restore Subscription, that grays briefly, asks for a password, then returns to blue and nothing else happens. Bouncing back and forth between monthly and yearly likewise gives no response.
The Transaction.currentEntitlements seems to be empty so it thinks the user is not subscribed.
I have unsubscribed, and resubscribed via the Settings page to no avail.

Hi All,
We are developing our app with an approved External Link Account Entitlement.
During the development process (such as installing from Xcode or creating an Ad-hoc build and installing it on a phone), the open() function of the External Link Account API displays the modal our native language. The app only localized to that language.
However, after uploading the app with the same configuration to TestFlight, the modal somehow appears in English instead.
What could be causing this issue with the External Link Account modal? How can the open() function display the modal in another language when installed from Xcode or an Ad-hoc release build, but in English when installed from TestFlight? How can we show only our native lanugage version only to our Users?

I’ve been receiving App Store Server Notifications (webhooks) normally for a specific transaction. Everything was working fine — I could use the original_transaction_id to query transaction history, and transaction_id to look up specific transactions.
However, starting recently, all API calls for that transaction (both Get Transaction Info and Get Transaction History) now return not found.
• The webhooks used to arrive normally for this transaction.
• I am sure I’m querying the correct environment (production vs sandbox).
• The IDs I’m using are exactly the ones from the last webhook payload.
• I haven’t changed my integration code.
My questions:
1. Under what conditions does Apple’s API return “not found” for original_transaction_id that previously worked?
2. Can Apple actually purge transaction records (in production)?
3. Could this happen due to refunds, revocations, or other account actions?
4. Is this expected behavior, or should I file a DTS (Technical Support Incident)?
Any insight would be appreciated.

While testing an inapp purchase, if you purchase the same product twice from an account that does not have testflight permissions for the project and only has sandbox permissions, the second payment will receive the same transactionId as the first.
Why is that so? I know transactionID is unique.
I have three questions about verify receipt
I use this api (https://buy.itunes.apple.com/verifyReceipt)to verify receipt is success or not. But since last month, this interface has started to return an error(21002). I see this document (https://developer.apple.com/documentation/appstorereceipts/verifyreceipt) say its Deprecated. My question is, is the error suddenly returned recently because the interface has been deprecated or for some other reason? (I haven't modified my code about this recently)
I can not understand this document: (https://developer.apple.com/documentation/appstorereceipts/validating_receipts_on_the_device) Does this mean that in the new version, as long as the app returns a payment success (purchaseDetails.status == PurchaseStatus.purchased), the payment is guaranteed to be successful, and my server does not need to request payment result verification from Apple's server?

We're looking for the best way to handle App Store Server Notifications in our development setup and would appreciate some guidance.
Our Setup:
We use a single App Store Connect account for development, which supports multiple environments (e.g., staging1, staging2). Our production app lives in a separate account, so that's not an issue.
The Challenge:
We have only one configurable sandbox notification URL. This makes it difficult to route notifications to the correct development server (staging1 vs. staging2 vs developments) when a sandbox event occurs.
We're considering using a proxy server to catch all notifications and then forward them to the appropriate environment. However, we're not sure how to determine the correct destination.
Our Questions:
What's the recommended approach for managing a single sandbox notification URL across multiple development environments?
If a proxy is the best method, which parameter in the responseBodyV2 payload should we use to route the notification? How can we differentiate between our various dev environments?
Is it possible to add custom properties to the App Store Server Notification V2 body to facilitate routing?
Any advice or best practices you've implemented would be greatly appreciated.
Our app cannot retrieve in-app purchase products from the App Store. We're getting a "storekit_no_response" error when attempting to fetch product information, despite having all products properly configured in App Store Connect.

I have been receiving beta software from the iPad App Store, despite not being enrolled in a beta program. Additionally, I do not have TestFlight or the Feedback app installed on my device. There are no certificates or profiles displayed either. I am using the App Store app that comes preinstalled on my device (note that I am not located in Europe).
My iPad has been experiencing significant bugs, including numerous screen glitches and periods of sluggishness. Furthermore, numerous applications have crashed frequently. I was able to confirm that I was receiving beta software because the crash reports include beta identifier numbers. According to Apple documentation regarding analytic reports, a beta identifier will only be visible for beta applications.
anyone know what could be going on or how to fix this?

Is there an App Store Server API available that allows cancellation of specific subscriptions by specifying transaction_id or similar identifiers?
Background of these questions:
We occasionally suspend user accounts due to violations of our service terms and conditions. In such cases, we would like to forcibly cancel their subscriptions if possible. However, we could not find relevant information in the documentation, which is why we are reaching out with these questions.

Hi everyone,
We’ve encountered an issue in some of our games where IAP purchases made using UPI are going into a pending state. Since these purchases are for consumable items, the rewards are not granted at the time of purchase.
Even after the transactions are eventually confirmed, the rewards still aren't received.
We tested this with two separate UPI transactions, and both resulted in the same pending state issue.
Interestingly, when we tried making a purchase using Apple Wallet afterward, the transaction completed successfully on the first attempt, without any pending state.
This issue seems specific to UPI transactions.
Could anyone help us understand why this is happening or if there’s a recommended way to handle such cases?

I would like to know if it is allowed to offer the user to either unlock the app immediately or partake in a 3-day trial period before making a purchase.
I created 2 IAP non-consumable products; 1 for the immediate [which is at a discount] and for the after trial period ends [this is at a higher cost].
Is this something that Apple allows or is frowned upon?

I have a renewing monthly subscription in my app and recently added upgrade possibilities to yearly and 6 month subscriptions. Those new subscriptions were reviewed, approved and published to App Store.
I'm showing a modal for users in the app from where they can upgrade their subscription. Upgrading was tested with real devices on Sandbox and TestFlight. There has been successful purchases through the in app modal in production app, and directly upgrading from App Store.
However, for some users there seems to happen a failed transaction with paymentCancelled error code during the upgrade. The IAP is still successful, their subscription is upgraded and they haven't voluntarily canceled the IAP. The localized description of the error is "Toimintoa ei voitu suorittaa. (Virhe 2 kohteessa SKErrorDomain.)" which translates to "The operation could not be completed. (Error 2 in SKErrorDomain.)"
These users have various iPhones (iPhone 12 Pro, iPhone 14 Pro, iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 16 Pro) with up to date iOS versions (>= 18.3.1).
I'm receiving DID_CHANGE_RENEWAL_PREF (UPGRADE) server notification of these purchases on my server.
I haven't been able to reproduce this error myself.
Any ideas why StoreKit might fail the transaction with paymentCancelled error but still successfully upgrade the subscription?

We are currently integrating In-App Purchases for our app and have configured App Store Server Notifications (v2) in the Sandbox environment.
During testing, we observed the following issue:
When a transaction is cancelled, declined, or pending (e.g., Ask to Buy flows or authorization pending),
No App Store Server Notification is sent to our webhook endpoint.
We only receive webhook events where the status is "purchased".
This becomes a critical problem for us because our backend must accurately track transaction states including failed and pending purchases, especially for wallet top-up use cases.
Additionally, we tried mocking failed transactions (via Xcode local environment and turning off In-App Purchases from Developer Settings) to simulate a technical failure scenario.
Even in these cases, no webhook notification was received when the purchase failed server-side.
Is it expected behavior in Sandbox that only successful transactions ("purchased") trigger webhooks?
Are failed or pending transactions suppressed in Sandbox intentionally?
Will webhook behavior be different in Production (i.e., will we receive webhook notifications for failures there)?
Is there any extra configuration or entitlement needed to fully test failure scenarios via webhooks in Sandbox?

I want to build an app for ios using react native. preferably expo.
The app will be for recording user experiences with technology. the SLUDGE that they face while navigating through technology.
I want to have basic login, signup.
The main feature would be to have 2 recording modes.
First is record the screen and the front camera simultaneously.
Second is to record the back camera and the front camera simultaneously.
I can then patch the two outputs later on that is the screen recording and the front camera clip in post processing.
I want to know if this is possible as I was told that react native and expo does not have the support yet. if not is there any library or another approach to make this app come alive.
How can I get the region region currently used in the macOS App Store? Preferably via Swift libraries, but any command / function will suffice.

My macOS Apple Account region is US; in the App Store, when I sign into a different Apple Account whose region is GB (UK), Storefront.current?.countryCode continues to return US, not GB (or UK).
I correctly see prices in pounds instead of in dollars, British spelling instead of American spelling, apps listed in my purchased tab for the UK (not the US) Apple Account, and, in the Account Settings dialog, the UK Apple Account email address, billing address & Country/Region set to United Kingdom.
I didn't get any relevant results from the following command lines:
defaults find GB
defaults find UK
defaults find uk-apple-id@example.com
defaults find uk-apple-id
The following didn't change after I signed into the UK Apple Account in the App Store:
$ defaults read com.apple.AppStoreComponents

Maybe Storefront.current?.countryCode only specifies the country code for the Storefront that will be used for in-app purchases, instead of for purchasing new apps from the App Store; maybe the former is tied to the Apple Account for the macOS user, instead of to the Apple Account for the App Store. If that's the case, what other mechanism can I use to obtain the country code for the App Store storefront?
In the app we're distributing, we've identified a user where the Get All Subscription Statuses API returns two original transaction IDs in the data response. This user has gone through cancellations and re-subscriptions since their initial purchase.
Meanwhile, despite maintaining a continuous subscription, a notification suddenly arrives on the renewal date with original_transaction_id2.

Although it can be inferred from the interface definition of the API itself that multiple original transaction IDs may be returned, what causes multiple original transaction IDs to be returned?
Furthermore, is it possible to reproduce the case where multiple original transaction IDs are returned in the sandbox environment provided by Apple?
As for this app, it:
Uses subscriptions through in-app purchases.
Does not offer upgrades, downgrades, or crossgrades, having only one product.
Has never undergone price increases or decreases.
Is distributed exclusively in Japan.

Looking for assistance in managing subscription upgrades for TestFlight users.
I have a few monthly subscriptions, 30days, each with a different set of available features, 1 with all, and 1 with fewer. (All are in proper order and grouped in App Store connection subscriptions)
subscribing seems to be working fine, and purchasing an upgrade is going ok.
what is not: reflecting the upgraded plan in app (currently reflects it will start in 30days when current subscription expires)
I’m lead to believe this will be resolved with a live app in App Store, that will then handle prorating, terminate the old plan and immediately start the new one.
looking for help getting TestFlight to show immediate upgrades.
