Help testing sandbox purchases in Xcode
I am attempting to test non-consumable sandbox purchases, however I am unable to select the "Approve Transaction" option after initiating a purchase. Leaving the transaction in a permanent pending state. I can view the transaction in the transaction manager by navigating to Debug -> Storekit -> Manage Transactions.. but the only available options to select are "Refund Transaction" or "Delete Transaction". What am I missing about Xcode or my environment that is preventing me from testing this purchase flow? Some more information about my set up. I have a .storekit file synced to AppStore Connect with my product Id. There's a StoreKitTestCertificate.cert saved in the project. I've tried running the build on my phone as Debug, Release and ReleaseForRunning all with the same behavior after making a purchase. My phone is logged into a sandbox test user apple account in the developer iOS settings

in-app purchases
I implemented consumable in-app purchases in an iPhone app using ProductView(). When I tap the payment button in ProductView(), I am taken to the payment screen and once the payment is completed the next code seems to be executed, so there doesn't seem to be a problem, but if I tap the payment button in ProductView() again, the next code is executed without taking me to the payment screen. This means that a single payment can be made multiple times. Can someone help? ProductView(id: "geminiOneMatch") .productViewStyle(.compact) .padding() .onInAppPurchaseCompletion { product, result in if case .success(.success(_)) = result { // 課金が成功した場合の処理 gemini.addOneMatch(amount: 20) popUpVM.geminiOneMatchPopUp = false dataManageVM.generateRespons(locale: locale) } }

can not verify receipt
I have three questions about verify receipt I use this api (https://buy.itunes.apple.com/verifyReceipt)to verify receipt is success or not. But since last month, this interface has started to return an error(21002). I see this document (https://developer.apple.com/documentation/appstorereceipts/verifyreceipt) say its Deprecated. My question is, is the error suddenly returned recently because the interface has been deprecated or for some other reason? (I haven't modified my code about this recently) I can not understand this document: (https://developer.apple.com/documentation/appstorereceipts/validating_receipts_on_the_device) Does this mean that in the new version, as long as the app returns a payment success (purchaseDetails.status == PurchaseStatus.purchased), the payment is guaranteed to be successful, and my server does not need to request payment result verification from Apple's server? I try to use this (https://github.com/apple/app-store-server-library-java) to get TransactionInfo, but I dont konw to get Transaction status to know is success or not. my java server code : AppStoreServerAPIClient client = new AppStoreServerAPIClient(encodedKey, keyId, issuerId, bundleId, environment); TransactionInfoResponse response = client.getTransactionInfo(transactionId); (bug i can note get transaction status, how do i konw this Transaction is success or not)

StoreKit1 Usage error
I encountered the following issues while developing in-app purchases; please help me: When attempting to purchase a product that has already been purchased, SKPaymentQueue reports an error instead of a success message: <SKPaymentQueue: 0x134665380>: Payment completed with error: Error Domain=ASDServerErrorDomain Code=3532 "You’re currently subscribed to this." UserInfo={NSLocalizedFailureReason=You’re currently subscribed to this., client-environment-type=Sandbox, AMSServerErrorCode=3532, storefront-country-code=USA} After buying product A on one iPhone using a sandbox account, restoring purchases on another iPhone with the same sandbox account via paymentQueue.restoreCompletedTransactions(withApplicationUsername:) does not return the previously purchased product A data; it directly calls restoreCompletedTransactionsFinished.

Reporting to External Purchase Server API when using alternative PSP in the EU
Dear community, Context My company operates in the European Union, where not so long ago there appeared the possibility to accept an ["Alternative Terms Addendum for Apps in the EU"] (https://developer.apple.com/contact/request/download/alternate_eu_terms_addendum.pdf), which, among others, gives us the possibility to use an alternative payment provider, other than Apple's In App Purchase PSP system (ref: Apple docs). My company did accept it and was granted the StoreKit External Purchase Entitlement (com.apple.developer.storekit.external-purchase) entitlement, with which we integrated a different PSP, so now we want to incorporate the reporting to Apple's External Purchase Server API. We are currently integrating with the External Purchase Server API and have encountered a couple of issues I would appreciate clarification on: Question 1 Is there a way to retrieve an overview or summary of the current subscription states on Apple’s servers as a result of the submitted reports to External Purchase Server API? Specifically, I would like to verify the expected outcomes before the monthly invoice is issued by Apple and to understand the subscription states for the test users I used during this process and for future reference as well. Question 2 In one scenario, I initiated a one-year subscription, and in the middle of its period, I submitted a RENEWAL for one month with a higher price. I expected the request to fail due to overlapping periods and/or pricing conflicts, but both submissions were accepted without error. Do you have an idea about: What happens at the end of the renewed month? Will the subscription continue with the renewed (higher) amount, revert to the original (lower) annual rate, or be canceled? Where can I view the final state and billing plan for that subscription? Thank you for your assistance, we are looking forward for any kind of help or information regarding this topic.

Proper way to set up Sandbox iOS for Purchase Testing
I cannot explain how frustrating this is. Not that I want to compare to Android, but in 3 years of QA Testing my app, Android works like a dream, while iOS fights with me EVERY SINGLE STEP OF THE WAY. Hopefully someone here can tell me what I am missing/doing wrong/which god I must appease to get this to work. I have 3 REAL iPhones of varying iOS versions and ages. But they are all proper actual iPhones. We use google accounts at this company, so my primary email is a gmail one. I have created MANY sandbox accounts inside App Store Connect. Currently I have 2, and 2 of my devices (both 14's one of which is a Pro) have my Primary account as the main account for the device. But they both also have a Sandbox account which is simply my main email with a +sandbox in it to make it a new unique email. Here is the problem, nothing works as expected ever. I can install my Staging and Production apps from TestFlight, then I can make a subscription purchase as a customer would and I SHOULD see that subscription in my Sandbox right? That's the point of a Sandbox and TestFlight is it not? But in ALL cases whenever I try to view my 'Sandbox Subscriptions' it tells me I don't have any. Now, sometimes, very occasionally, I get a specific error message inside my app when attempting to make a purchase, this one states something like 'You already have a subscription, please restore it instead...' which makes no sense. Since it clearly states that I have none. But this message has a 'Manage' button to manage my subscriptions, tapping it lads me to a windows which amazing DOES have a subscription in it. But attempting to 'Cancel' it does nothing, just refreshes the screen to be the same. Now I think that this subscription is actually attached to the primary account on the device and NOT the sandbox account. So when this happens I cannot subscribe, I cannot restore, and I cannot manually alter the subscription within iOS. So I am stuck at this point. What am I doing wrong, am I setting this all up in the wrong order? Do I need to install some kind of profile or security cert, do I need to give a pint of blood to Imhotep? What am I missing. I even once sat on the phone for 90 minutes with an Apple Support Rep who took me through it step by step, same result. Also I just noticed that inside 'App Store Connect' when you look at the list of 'Sandbox' accounts there is a column for 'Last Purchase' which is entirely blank, apparently after a year of use I have NEVER purchased on the Sandbox, which is another reason I think my subs are going to the main email, not the sandbox one. I tried using the sandbox email as the main account for the whole device, I can't recall the result but it was worse and didn't work at all. So that's not it. https://developer.apple.com/help/app-store-connect/test-in-app-purchases/create-a-sandbox-apple-account/ The instructions on this page are not detailed enough and were not helpful to me. All I really want to know is how to fully setup a real actual iPhone for TestFlight and Sandbox testing of a app. WHat order do I create accounts, validate emails, attach to devices, login with etc etc etc. Step by step, nothing no matter how mundane missed out. A true idiots guide to making this work for me. Testing this on Android always takes 5 mins. iPhone, I'm lucky if I am done in half a day. Please help and thanks for reading!

Wrong Product.displayPrice?
I am using StoreKit 2 for my products and noticed that users from Ukraine (for example) receive a wrong Product.displayPrice. The App Store works with USD but shows the local currency UAH. Any chance to display the correct currency (USD)?

iOS 26 Beta 9 Purchase Issues
Hello all, Posting here before I put in a support ticket to see if there are any ideas. The previous beta issues seem to have been resolved, but now we are having intermittent problems with sandbox purchases. We do not know if this will affect real purchases. This is happening on beta 9 in both public and dev channels for us, most often on iPad Pro 4th. gen (Though idk if that is relevant). Sometimes running TestFlight builds on iOS 26 beta 9 devices we will have attempts to make sandbox purchases just go into a black hole. We do not get a "Do you want to buy this" popup, or the credentials screen. It just pauses for a bit in the section of our code that would be akin to: let result = try await product.purchase( options: [.appAccountToken(accountUUID) ] ) Then wait a couple seconds, and then nothing. The game returns to normal flow as if it was a pending purchase, but nothing more ever happens. We have not been able to get a local debug build to do this, so it's hard for us to tell if it is going into the pending bucket, the userCancelled bucket, or the unverified bucket, etc. If we take a device in this state and remove the app and reinstall from TestFlight we will get a credentials popup on the first attempt after install to buy, and after putting in our info we will get the " "You've already purchased this In-App Purchase...", but nothing ever his our listener and we return to the broken state. Has anyone else seen issues like this? P.S. Our StoreKit logic code is currently widely distributed, so if it was reproducible in the live version on iOS 18 we would know about it. Thanks, Chris

Old developer account still receiving payments after migration
Hi, I've migrated my app to another developer account more than half a year ago, but I'm still receiving a few transaction payments in the old developer account, which currently has no app. The payment date shown in the report is last month. I'm wondering how could this happen. Is it possible for users to initiate a transaction half a year ago and only successfully pay it now?

react native iap not providing the subscription information
I am handling the buy subscription with this function const handleBuySubscription = async (productId) => { try { await requestSubscription({ sku: productId, }); setLoading(false); } catch (error) { setLoading(false); if (error instanceof PurchaseError) { errorLog({ message: [${error.code}]: ${error.message}, error }); } else { errorLog({ message: "handleBuySubscription", error }); } } }; but the requestSubscription({ sku: productId, }) does not return anything, and it is stuck at await

Issue with UPI IAP Transactions Stuck in Pending State and No Rewards Granted
Hi everyone, We’ve encountered an issue in some of our games where IAP purchases made using UPI are going into a pending state. Since these purchases are for consumable items, the rewards are not granted at the time of purchase. Even after the transactions are eventually confirmed, the rewards still aren't received. We tested this with two separate UPI transactions, and both resulted in the same pending state issue. Interestingly, when we tried making a purchase using Apple Wallet afterward, the transaction completed successfully on the first attempt, without any pending state. This issue seems specific to UPI transactions. Could anyone help us understand why this is happening or if there’s a recommended way to handle such cases? Thanks in advance!

Crash on UIApplicationInvalidInterfaceOrientation when [SKStoreProductViewController shouldAutorotate] is returning YES
I get crash reports which I can't reproduce when trying to present an SKStoreProductViewController : Fatal Exception: UIApplicationInvalidInterfaceOrientation Supported orientations has no common orientation with the application, and [SKStoreProductViewController shouldAutorotate] is returning YES No matter what app Deployment info orientation I try I can't get my SKStoreProductViewController shouldAutorotate property to return YES. It is always false. Does anyone knows why or how to get an SKStoreProductViewController to return shouldAutorotate YES?

How to handle subscription notifications with future purchase date
Our app server has subscription feature and processes purchase life cycles based on App Store Server Notification v1. Last year, when users purchased subscriptions during the following timeframe, we received "INITIAL_BUY" notifications with "unified_receipt.Latest_receipt_info.purchase_date" set to future date(approx. 1 hour after the actual purchase). 2024-11-03 08:00:00 - 2024-11-03 09:00:00 Etc/GMT (UTC) For example, we received the following v1 notification at 2024-11-03 08:36:33 Etc/GMT. "notification_type": "INITIAL_BUY" "unified_receipt.latest_receipt_info[].purchase_date": "2024-11-03 09:36:02 Etc/GMT" Our server grants subscription entitlement based on "purchase_date" so the users had to wait 1 hour before the subscription features became available. The timeframe coincided with the end of daylight saving time in the U.S., so we assume that it affected the behavior, but our country doesn't adopt daylight saving time. We have some questions regarding this behavior. In countries without daylight saving time, how should we handle such notifications with future purchase date in order to properly grant subscription entitlement? In App Store Server Notification v2, could purchase date be set to future date at the end of daylight saving time in the U.S., just as in v1 notifications? JWSTransactionDecodedPayload.purchaseDate

Not receiving App Store Server Notifications for failed transactions
We are currently integrating In-App Purchases for our app and have configured App Store Server Notifications (v2) in the Sandbox environment. During testing, we observed the following issue: When a transaction is cancelled, declined, or pending (e.g., Ask to Buy flows or authorization pending), No App Store Server Notification is sent to our webhook endpoint. We only receive webhook events where the status is "purchased". This becomes a critical problem for us because our backend must accurately track transaction states including failed and pending purchases, especially for wallet top-up use cases. Additionally, we tried mocking failed transactions (via Xcode local environment and turning off In-App Purchases from Developer Settings) to simulate a technical failure scenario. Even in these cases, no webhook notification was received when the purchase failed server-side. Is it expected behavior in Sandbox that only successful transactions ("purchased") trigger webhooks? Are failed or pending transactions suppressed in Sandbox intentionally? Will webhook behavior be different in Production (i.e., will we receive webhook notifications for failures there)? Is there any extra configuration or entitlement needed to fully test failure scenarios via webhooks in Sandbox?

Subscription IAP - SubscriptionStoreView results and errors - more info needed. FB19376771
FB19376771 Transactions monitoring. If I only have subscriptions, do I really need to "bother" with any sort of monitorTransactions() or just rely on subscription status (subscribed, revoked, cancelled ...) ? This is in line with Apple SKDemo and recommendation: // Only handle consumables and non consumables here. Check the subscription status each time // before unlocking a premium subscription feature. switch transaction.productType { ref: [https://developer.apple.com/documentation/storekit/implementing-a-store-in-your-app-using-the-storekit-api) The "Only handle consumables and non consumables here" recommendation by Apple in ref to the process transaction code above is nuanced and confusing if we know what was with other external experts recommendation saying when using only SK2 Views : "This is where most developers trip up in trying to get an experience that App Review is happy" ... continuing : "Be careful: that Purchase View code alone isn’t enough, because one of the possible completion status is .pending: the purchase is in the process of happening but hasn’t completed yet, so you still need to watch the transaction queue manually to be absolutely sure of handling the process completely." Does this holds true for the new SubscriptionStoreView ? We are not sure with quite obscure Apple documentation what SubscriptionStoreView handles, other than purchase (and now subscribe) function, and we do not know what diverse type of error handling messages it can return. Moreover, Apple documents: "Only handle consumables and non consumables here" ? @Apple can you please share more insights on Purchase button on SubscriptionStoreView e.g A) does it close ( finish). the purchase transaction ? B) What error results can it return ? C) What .onInAppPurchaseCompletion can handle as result ?

Migrating to StoreKit 2
Hi Friends, I have an iOS app, which uses around 500 in app purchases for various modules. I am using StoreKit for in app purchase, now trying to migrate this to StoreKit 2. I am using Product.products(for:) method to fetch all the products by sending identifiers of all the 500 In app purchases. In response, I am getting details of only 160 products, the method is not returning remaining in app purchases. What could be the reason for this behaviour, how to get rid of the issue? May be is this the issue will happen only on TestFlight? If someone from Apple assures about it, we have plan to submit the app. Please advise, Thank you.
