Error setting install attribution pingback
Hi there, We have an app targeted for children and we want to use the SkAdNetwork to track installs for campaigns. We don't want to track further in-app events (purchase etc.), just the install event. We added the SDK to our Unity app, listed the network identifiers in the plist file, configured the external campaign according to their instructions, but struggle to see any events for several weeks now. We see the following logs in the app: Registering install attribution pingback. Failed to migrate Install Attribution database schema from 17001 => 17400. SkAdNetwork: No pingbacks found while attempting to register/update. Error setting install attribution pingback registered for app: 1509727806, error: Error Domain=ASDErrorDomain code=1208 How can we debug this further? What does the error mean? Thank you very much! (I hope I posted in the correct forum topic. Apologies if not)

Recent issues in StoreKit products fetch
Hello everyone! We are observing a significant number of failures in the fetch of the products with StoreKit1, meaning that in a completely random way, some product identifiers are considered invalid in the response that we receive from Apple, and after some minutes these products are considered once again valid. The issue started on Thursday 04/24 around 12.00 am (UTC + 02.00) and from our dashboard we can clearly see the trend of these failures has some spikes at precise times. I am attaching a view that we use for monitoring purposes showing this trend, considering the data of this week. We are noticing this problem on multiple developer accounts and on multiple apps, which is leading us to think it could be an issue in the Apple backend processing the request. In our case, the apps are not launched correctly until all the products are fetched, and therefore the impact of this problem is very high. Is anyone experiencing something similar or do you have logs which allows you to identify such issues? The issue happens only in production, while in debug and TestFlight environment everything works well. Thank you for your support

unable to cancel test subscriptions
I tested a subscription with my developer account, it never charges but at the same time I can't cancel it anymore. It does not appear in the list of my official purchsed subscriptions. I tried to login to the sandbox with my developer account, but then when I click on "Manage" I just keep getting the error "Can't connect - retry". I have already tried to logout from all the services, App store, etc. and re-login, nothing worked. Is there anything I can do? Thanks in advance to anyone who can give any tips.

(verifyreceipt) I cannot verify from the server whether the user's iap payment is successful or not
I have three questions about verify receipt I use this api (https://buy.itunes.apple.com/verifyReceipt)to verify receipt is success or not. But since last month, this interface has started to return an error(21002). I see this document (https://developer.apple.com/documentation/appstorereceipts/verifyreceipt) say its Deprecated. My question is, is the error suddenly returned recently because the interface has been deprecated or for some other reason? (I haven't modified my code about this recently) 2. I can not understand this document: (https://developer.apple.com/documentation/appstorereceipts/validating_receipts_on_the_device) Does this mean that in the new version, as long as the app returns a payment success (purchaseDetails.status == PurchaseStatus.purchased), the payment is guaranteed to be successful, and my server does not need to request payment result verification from Apple's server? 3. I try to use this (https://github.com/apple/app-store-server-library-java) to get TransactionInfo, but I dont konw to get Transaction status to know is success or not. my java server code : AppStoreServerAPIClient client = new AppStoreServerAPIClient(encodedKey, keyId, issuerId, bundleId, environment); TransactionInfoResponse response = client.getTransactionInfo(transactionId); (bug i can note get transaction status, how do i konw this Transaction is success or not)

Not receiving App Store Server Notifications for failed transactions
We are currently integrating In-App Purchases for our app and have configured App Store Server Notifications (v2) in the Sandbox environment. During testing, we observed the following issue: When a transaction is cancelled, declined, or pending (e.g., Ask to Buy flows or authorization pending), No App Store Server Notification is sent to our webhook endpoint. We only receive webhook events where the status is "purchased". This becomes a critical problem for us because our backend must accurately track transaction states including failed and pending purchases, especially for wallet top-up use cases. Additionally, we tried mocking failed transactions (via Xcode local environment and turning off In-App Purchases from Developer Settings) to simulate a technical failure scenario. Even in these cases, no webhook notification was received when the purchase failed server-side. Is it expected behavior in Sandbox that only successful transactions ("purchased") trigger webhooks? Are failed or pending transactions suppressed in Sandbox intentionally? Will webhook behavior be different in Production (i.e., will we receive webhook notifications for failures there)? Is there any extra configuration or entitlement needed to fully test failure scenarios via webhooks in Sandbox?

Subscription IAP - SubscriptionStoreView results and errors - more info needed. FB19376771
FB19376771 Transactions monitoring. If I only have subscriptions, do I really need to "bother" with any sort of monitorTransactions() or just rely on subscription status (subscribed, revoked, cancelled ...) ? This is in line with Apple SKDemo and recommendation: // Only handle consumables and non consumables here. Check the subscription status each time // before unlocking a premium subscription feature. switch transaction.productType { ref: [https://developer.apple.com/documentation/storekit/implementing-a-store-in-your-app-using-the-storekit-api) The "Only handle consumables and non consumables here" recommendation by Apple in ref to the process transaction code above is nuanced and confusing if we know what was with other external experts recommendation saying when using only SK2 Views : "This is where most developers trip up in trying to get an experience that App Review is happy" ... continuing : "Be careful: that Purchase View code alone isn’t enough, because one of the possible completion status is .pending: the purchase is in the process of happening but hasn’t completed yet, so you still need to watch the transaction queue manually to be absolutely sure of handling the process completely." Does this holds true for the new SubscriptionStoreView ? We are not sure with quite obscure Apple documentation what SubscriptionStoreView handles, other than purchase (and now subscribe) function, and we do not know what diverse type of error handling messages it can return. Moreover, Apple documents: "Only handle consumables and non consumables here" ? @Apple can you please share more insights on Purchase button on SubscriptionStoreView e.g A) does it close ( finish). the purchase transaction ? B) What error results can it return ? C) What .onInAppPurchaseCompletion can handle as result ?

sandbox account isn't logging in on purchase window
I don't know if I am posting this in the right place. I am using xcode's phone simulator and I have setup my sandbox account on appstoreconnect under users and access/sandbox/test accounts then in my app on the simulator when I tap the subscribe button to purchase my product the a window pops up for in app purchases and I get a login prompt for my sandbox credentials, but no matter how many times I enter them after tapping ok all I get is a blank login prompt. also not this a brand new sandbox account and I've only changed the password 3 times, that seems to be important because its inconsistent with some of the errors I am getting on the error log here is error log. Purchase did not return a transaction: Error Domain=ASDErrorDomain Code=530 "(null)" UserInfo={NSUnderlyingError=0x600000d09080 {Error Domain=AMSErrorDomain Code=100 "Authentication Failed The authentication failed." How to make StoreKit config & App Store Server notifications work together?
Hi, Using StoreKit 2 with App Store Server notifications like so: User selects a purchase App calls Product.purchase() If successful, App Store notifies our backend with the transaction details, importantly with a UUID for the transaction ID. This works fine, but when I try to test contingent pricing via the handy StoreKit config Transaction Manager in Xcode by creating a PurchaseIntent if I then complete the purchase in the app the Transaction ID is sequential, (0 for the first, 1 for the second etc), which doesn't work for us as the backend might already have that ID stored so the purchase never completes. If I disable the config file it works fine, but then I can't use the Transaction Manager debug tool. Is there a way to override the ID of a custom transaction that's created via the StoreKit configuration? Thanks

iOS 26.3/26.4: ConfirmPendingPurchase does not always finalize the transaction
Hello Apple Developer Support, We are seeing a payment issue affecting users on iOS 26.3 and 26.4. Many users report that after a successful purchase flow, the purchased content is not delivered in-game. After investigation, we found that storeController?.ConfirmPurchase(pendingOrder); does not always effectively complete the transaction. As a result, the same receipt is sent to the client again on the next purchase attempt or after app restart. This causes repeated pending transactions and prevents users from purchasing the item again. Some affected users requested refunds from Apple, but those requests were rejected. Among 19 reported users: 11 users are on iOS 26.4 (recently upgraded) The remaining users are on iOS 26.3 We also received similar reports on earlier iOS 26 versions. Development environment: Unity Unity In-App Purchasing (IAP) 4.13.0 Could you please help confirm whether there are known StoreKit / transaction completion issues on iOS 26.3+ and suggest the recommended handling for this case? Thank you.

InApp purchases ok and ko at the same time (?!)
I'm working on an app the has implemented inapp purchases. They have been working so far, and they keep working currently. But just a couple of days ago, a specific user sent us a support ticket stating that when he purchases and item the bank charges it for the purchase, but within the app, the purchase fails and he doesn't receive the item. He sent us screenshots showing: The iOS native modal when a purchases has been finished correctly ("You're all set - Your purchase was successful "). Right after that modal, the app shows an internal modal showing "The purchase failed, please, try again later". Checking the app logs, that failure modal was triggered by "The operation couldn’t be completed. (StoreKit.StoreKitError error 1.)". Reading docs about this error leads me to think about device or user restrictions (parental controls, usage limits, etc...). It seems that in theses cases the bank charge could be issued but refunded later once Apple ultimately declines the purchase. However the user says that he doesn't have any kind of restriction. The only related thing is a "this device is also restricted by a profile" message, but everyone seems to have this message. What could it be causing this issue? In what scenariowould the app show a native OK modal but a storekit error 1? I'm pretty sure the app is well configured because I keep receiving purchases of all kind, from different users with any problem.

StoreKit access in keyboard extensions
Hello Apple team, We would like to access the user's available purchases from the keyboard extension. Making purchases directly from the keyboard is a great benefit, but we assume it is intentionally disabled to prevent abuse or fraudulent purchase attempts. What we care about the most is determining if the user has an item that contains a discount or a free trial to personalize messaging when we suggest the user go to the app and make a purchase. We hope you'd consider revising your policy around StoreKit usage.

App Store Server Notifications Update
Hello Apple Support Team, We're a developer team that has created an app with subscription-based features, and we've been using App Store Server Notifications to receive updates about user subscription status changes. I'm reaching out to inquire about potential modifications to the App Store Server Notifications approach that might have improved notification delivery times for my app. So on our appstore app, when a user purchases a subscription, the apple server notifications reach our server and send us the complete detail of that user’s purchase for eg he upgraded or downgraded etc. And then based on the data we receive from app store server notifications, we save it in our database, along with updating the users subscription table in the database. Previously, we experienced delays in receiving the real time notifications from apple on our server, sometimes taking a few minutes, while other times they would arrive immediately. And because of this issue, the users faced delay in seeing their subscription updates, as our db was updated only after the app store server notification reached our server. However, recently, we've noticed a significant improvement, and notifications are now being delivered still in real-time, but without any noticeable delays. I'm wondering if Apple has made any changes to the App Store Server Notifications system that might have resolved the delay issue. Could you please confirm if any modifications were made in 2025, specifically from January onwards, that might have improved notification delivery times? Additionally, I'd like to know if these changes apply to both sandbox testing and production environments. If possible, could you please provide more information about the changes or direct me to a resource that might explain the updates? I'd appreciate your assistance in confirming this information, and I'm looking forward to hearing back from you.

App Store Server Notification implementation in multiple environments
Hey everyone, We're looking for the best way to handle App Store Server Notifications in our development setup and would appreciate some guidance. Our Setup: We use a single App Store Connect account for development, which supports multiple environments (e.g., staging1, staging2). Our production app lives in a separate account, so that's not an issue. The Challenge: We have only one configurable sandbox notification URL. This makes it difficult to route notifications to the correct development server (staging1 vs. staging2 vs developments) when a sandbox event occurs. We're considering using a proxy server to catch all notifications and then forward them to the appropriate environment. However, we're not sure how to determine the correct destination. Our Questions: What's the recommended approach for managing a single sandbox notification URL across multiple development environments? If a proxy is the best method, which parameter in the responseBodyV2 payload should we use to route the notification? How can we differentiate between our various dev environments? Is it possible to add custom properties to the App Store Server Notification V2 body to facilitate routing? Any advice or best practices you've implemented would be greatly appreciated.

Urgent - React Native IAP Issue
While using react-native-iap and being successfully connected with initConnection() I'm not receiving information on subscriptions with requestSubscription(). Attaching the code here, if anyone could assist asap please would be really grateful thanks! Been at it all day and just can't figure. const handleBuySubscription = async (productId) => { try { await requestSubscription({ sku: productId, }); setLoading(false); } catch (error) { setLoading(false); if (error instanceof PurchaseError) { errorLog({ message: [${error.code}]: ${error.message}, error }); } else { errorLog({ message: "handleBuySubscription", error }); } } }; but the requestSubscription({ sku: productId, })

"This in-app purchase has already been bought" Error and SSL Failure on Restore
There is a project that has been running online for years. A few months ago, a player reported that after making their first successful IAP at a specific purchase point, any subsequent attempts to purchase the same item do not trigger the payment window. Instead, they get the error:"This in-app purchase has already been bought".After contacting Apple Support once, the player was able to make a payment, but the issue reappeared on the next attempt. So far, this is the only user reporting the problem, other people can purchase normally. Question1: Here’s what I’ve tried: I reviewed the code and ensured that TransactionObserveris correctly called. I’ve also added **[[SKPaymentQueue defaultQueue] finishTransaction:transaction]**in all possible places, but the issue persists. According to the logs, after the user’s first purchase, every subsequent IAP attempt returns the same receipt from the initial successful transaction, even though I’m certain finishTransactionis being called. It seems like this method isn’t having the intended effect. Question2: I asked the player to manually trigger the Restore Purchases button by calling [[SKPaymentQueue defaultQueue] restoreCompletedTransactions]. the restoreCompletedTransactionsFailedWithErrorcallback returned the following error: Error Domain=NSURLErrorDomain Code=-1200 "An SSL error has occurred and a secure connection to the server cannot be made." The player has already checked their device time and tried switching between Wi-Fi and 4G, but the error remains. Is this SSL error related to the "already bought" error? Note that this SSL issue occurred during a separate restore process, not during a purchase attempt. Question: 3: I noticed that I’m not calling finishTransaction inside the restoreCompletedTransactionsFailedWithErrorcallback. Should I add it there? Purchase Logs: The player clicked "Restore Purchases" and then attempted another purchase. The purchase flow appears normal, but the IAP returns an old, already-used receipt. Conversion tracking with the SKAN
Hello all, We developed an iOS app which we started advertising now. In our iOS app we already implemented the updatePostbackConversionValue(_:completionHandler:) to send in-app events in increasing numbers (first open -> 1, lead ->2, conversion -> 3). From our understanding this should be enough for alle ad networks (Apple Ads, Google Ads, Meta Ads, Microsoft Ads and Reddit Ads) to receive those numbers - at least they receive the app installs from the SKAN already. Is this correct or do we miss something here in the integration? We currently really struggle to assure that everything is working and we do not see any conversions coming in - even though two weeks of advertising have passed already. I look forward for any feedback or discussion and I am also happy to share more details if needed. Best regards, Manuel

in-app purchases suddenly appear as unpurchased.
We have received reports from users that their in-app purchases suddenly appear as unpurchased. We would like to know the cause of this issue. Our implementation does not use a server; purchases are determined solely on the client side. These reports often occur after updating the app version, but we have been unable to reproduce the issue in our development environment.
