when I have not verified payment method and we choose UPI then pop up shows Purchase In Progress and it shows notification for UPI app payment for apps like Gpay, Paytm. But when we approve or decline this payment StoreKit methods not called for success or failure and we have to kill app to refetch the status and stop the loader.

Can you implement storekit2 for in app purchases for a flutter project?

We have received reports from users that their in-app purchases suddenly appear as unpurchased.
We would like to know the cause of this issue.
Our implementation does not use a server; purchases are determined solely on the client side.
These reports often occur after updating the app version,
but we have been unable to reproduce the issue in our development environment.

I have an auto-renewable subscription. I have two methods helping me keep track of when they are expired
@MainActor public func isPurchased(product: Product) async -> Bool {
guard let state = await product.currentEntitlement else {
return false
}
switch state {
case .unverified(_, _):
return false
case .verified(let transaction):
await transaction.finish()
return isTransactionRelevant(transaction)
}
}
private func isTransactionRelevant(_ transaction: Transaction) -> Bool {
if let revocationDate = transaction.revocationDate {
logger.error("Transaction verification failed: Transaction was revoked on \(revocationDate)")
return false
}
if let expirationDate = transaction.expirationDate,
expirationDate < Date()
{
logger.error("Transaction verification failed: Transaction expired on \(expirationDate)")
return false
}
if transaction.isUpgraded {
logger.error("Transaction verification failed: Transaction was upgraded")
return false
}
logger.info("Transaction verification succeeded")
return true
}
I also have this that I can call to get the latest state of purchases
@MainActor public func updateStoreKitSubscriptionStatus() async {
var currentProductsPurchased: [Product] = []
for await result in Transaction.currentEntitlements {
if case .verified(let transaction) = result {
if isTransactionRelevant(transaction) {
if let product = products.first(
where: { $0.id == transaction.productID
})
{
currentProductsPurchased.append(product)
}
}
await transaction.finish()
}
}
self.purchasedProducts = currentProductsPurchased
}
Right now when a subscription expires the user needs to manually do some action that triggers updateStoreKitSubscriptionStatus() as it appears that expirations do not come through in Transaction.updates.
I am surprised there does not seem to be a better way. Does StoreKit not notify you somewhere that an auto-renewable subscription has expired? Can you observe it in an ObservableObject? Or do I need to just frequently poll Transaction.currentEntitlements even if I dont expect frequent updates?

Hi! I’m new in programming apps for Apple Store and I’m creating my first app. I already send my for review but I get an answer of problems with the subs flow. If there’s anyone who can help me fix this problem and implement my subscriptions in my app and test it out I would be thankful, I want the flow work like in the image!
Hi,
We have a app with some auto-renewing subscription in a group of subscriptions.
When a user upgrade from a subscription to another, the "user receive a refund of the prorated amount of their original subscription" (https://developer.apple.com/app-store/subscriptions/).
How is the prorated calculated ?
Example : subscription to 14,99$ / month. If subscriber upgrade after 10 days, is the refund calculated 10/30 of 14,99$ (so ~5$) ?
In our app we are running into a few issues with pending purchases staying on receipt indefinitely.
These are consumable purchases where we received the purchase succeeded from apple but then something went wrong on our servers to validate and confirm the purchase.
At this point the purchase stays on the apple receipt indefinitely or until we confirm it.
The problem is there are lots of scenarios where we can't confirm purchases anymore (like a game world expired/banned player/etc). So there's a few things I'd like to know to see how this could be handle correctly.
1- Was the user already charged, and if yes would they ever be refunded if the purchase is not confirmed (some sort of expiry)?
2- Is there a way to cancel this sort of pending transaction directly from the app or backend?
3- If one of these users asked for a refund from apple would this clear the purchase from the receipt?
Any information would be greatI couldn't find a lot of info on this topic.

I would like to inquire about the originalTransactionId of StoreKit2.
Users who purchase auto-renewal subscription products
To re-purchase the same subscription item after cancellation and prior to refund
If you receive a refund after cancellation and re-purchase the same subscription item
If you do not renew immediately after expiration and re-purchase the same subscription after a long period of time
I would like to ask if 1, 2, and 3 all use the same value as the original Transaction Id at the initial subscription.
In the case of 3, if you re-purchase more than a few days after the last subscription purchase, please let me know if there are any detailed conditions such as the original Transaction Id not maintained.
Hi Friends,
I have an iOS app, which uses around 500 in app purchases for various modules. I am using StoreKit for in app purchase, now trying to migrate this to StoreKit 2.
I am using Product.products(for:) method to fetch all the products by sending identifiers of all the 500 In app purchases.
In response, I am getting details of only 160 products, the method is not returning remaining in app purchases.
What could be the reason for this behaviour, how to get rid of the issue?
May be is this the issue will happen only on TestFlight? If someone from Apple assures about it, we have plan to submit the app.
Please advise, Thank you.

While using react-native-iap and being successfully connected with initConnection() I'm not receiving information on subscriptions with requestSubscription(). Attaching the code here, if anyone could assist asap please would be really grateful thanks! Been at it all day and just can't figure.
const handleBuySubscription = async (productId) => { try { await requestSubscription({ sku: productId, }); setLoading(false); } catch (error) { setLoading(false); if (error instanceof PurchaseError) { errorLog({ message: [${error.code}]: ${error.message}, error }); } else { errorLog({ message: "handleBuySubscription", error }); } } }; but the requestSubscription({ sku: productId, })
Dear community,
Context
My company operates in the European Union, where not so long ago there appeared the possibility to accept an ["Alternative Terms Addendum for Apps in the EU"] (https://developer.apple.com/contact/request/download/alternate_eu_terms_addendum.pdf), which, among others, gives us the possibility to use an alternative payment provider, other than Apple's In App Purchase PSP system (ref: Apple docs). My company did accept it and was granted the StoreKit External Purchase Entitlement (com.apple.developer.storekit.external-purchase) entitlement, with which we integrated a different PSP, so now we want to incorporate the reporting to Apple's External Purchase Server API. We are currently integrating with the External Purchase Server API and have encountered a couple of issues I would appreciate clarification on:
Question 1
Is there a way to retrieve an overview or summary of the current subscription states on Apple’s servers as a result of the submitted reports to External Purchase Server API? Specifically, I would like to verify the expected outcomes before the monthly invoice is issued by Apple and to understand the subscription states for the test users I used during this process and for future reference as well.
Question 2
In one scenario, I initiated a one-year subscription, and in the middle of its period, I submitted a RENEWAL for one month with a higher price.
I expected the request to fail due to overlapping periods and/or pricing conflicts, but both submissions were accepted without error.
Do you have an idea about:
What happens at the end of the renewed month?
Will the subscription continue with the renewed (higher) amount, revert to the original (lower) annual rate, or be canceled?
Where can I view the final state and billing plan for that subscription?
Thank you for your assistance, we are looking forward for any kind of help or information regarding this topic.
Hi
To test SkAdNetwork, I installed the profile from the documentation (https://developer.apple.com/documentation/storekit/testing-ad-attributions-with-a-downloaded-profile) on my ios device.
and turned off and on Allow Apps to Request to Track to change the idfa value.
In this state, I installed the app (bundle id: id436731843) using SKAdNetwork with the following values at April 8th AM 01 (UTC)
SkAdnetwork version: 3.0

I'm using code similar to the following to conditionally show the SubscriptionStoreView and the .storeButton(.visible, for: .restorePurchases) modifier is used to allow the user to restore an existing subscription.
How can I listen for events that would allow me to close this view once the subscription is restored?
The .onInAppPurchaseCompletion closure does not handle this and it also appears that listening for results in Transaction.currentEntitlements also doesn't handle the fact that a subscription is restored.
Any guidance on how to determine if the subscription has been restored would be greatly appreciated.
Finally, how can this be tested effectively in both TestFlight and in Xcode with the simulator.
if subscriptionManager.subscription == .none {
SubscriptionStoreView(groupID: "1234567") {
SubscriptionMarketingView(transparency: false)
.containerBackground(for: .subscriptionStoreFullHeight) {
GradientBackground()
}
}
.backgroundStyle(.clear)
.storeButton(.visible, for: .restorePurchases)
.storeButton(.visible, for: .redeemCode)
.onInAppPurchaseCompletion { product, result in
Task {
await subscriptionManager.entitlements()
}
}
}
I am trying use SKOverlay to promote an app, and I currently have the campaignToken field populated. However, even when installs happen from the SKOverlay, nothing shows up under that campaign token in App Store Connect. Is there something that I'm missing? I don't have the providerToken set.

Hello,
My app was rejected on iPad (iPad Air 11-inch M3, iPadOS 26.2.1) with two related issues:
Guideline 2.1 – Performance – App Completeness
“The app exhibited one or more bugs that would negatively impact users.
Bug description: the premium subscription cannot be loaded properly.”
Guideline 3.1.2 – Business – Payments – Subscriptions
“The submission did not include all the required information for apps offering auto-renewable subscriptions.”
I am using StoreKit 2 with SubscriptionStoreView to present the auto-renewable subscription.
During development:
Subscriptions load correctly in the simulator (sandbox).
On real devices, I test without a local StoreKit configuration file to fetch products from App Store Connect.
The subscription UI (title, duration, price) displays correctly when products are returned.
At the time of review, the Paid Apps Agreement was not active.
I suspect this may have caused the subscription products to fail loading on the review device.
Since then:
Paid Apps Agreement is now Active. SubscriptionStoreView should automatically show required metadata.
Because the subscription failed to load on iPad during review, the required information (title, price, duration) was not visible, which likely triggered the 3.1.2 rejection.
Additionally, in TestFlight I sometimes see inconsistent behavior where the app appears but cannot be installed (“App Not Available”).
Also, my app was rejected, but the subscription is still waiting for review.
I would really appreciate guidance on the following:
Am I potentially missing any required configuration that could prevent products from loading in production?
Is there any propagation delay after activating the Paid Apps Agreement that could affect product availability?
If I am overlooking something in configuration or testing, please let me know what I should specifically verify before resubmitting.
Thank you very much for your help.

Issue Description
I am experiencing persistent 401 Unauthorized errors when attempting to access the App Store Server API using JWT authentication. Despite following Apple's documentation and regenerating keys, I am unable to successfully authenticate.
Implementation Details
I'm implementing JWT authentication for the App Store Server API to retrieve transaction information from the following endpoint:
https://api.storekit.itunes.apple.com/inApps/v1/transactions/{transactionID}
My JWT generation code (in PHP/Laravel) follows Apple's documentation:
php$kid = '6W6H649LJ4';
$header = [
"alg" => "ES256",
"kid" => $kid,
"typ" => "JWT"
];
$iss = 'b8d99de7-b43b-4cbb-aada-546ec784e249'; // App Store Connect API Key Issuer ID
$bid = 'com.gitiho.learnCourse'; // Bundle ID
$payload = [
"iss" => $iss,
"iat" => time(),
"exp" => time() + 3600,
"aud" => "appstoreconnect-v1",
"bid" => $bid
];
$pathFileAuthKeyP8 = "AuthKey_6W6H649LJ4.p8";
$contentFileAuthKey = \File::get(base_path($pathFileAuthKeyP8));
$alg = "ES256";
$jwt = \Firebase\JWT\JWT::encode($payload, $contentFileAuthKey, $alg, null, $header);
Steps Taken to Troubleshoot
Verified that the Issuer ID is correct and in UUID format
Confirmed that the Key ID matches the private key filename
Regenerated the key with proper App Store Server API permissions
Ensured the private key file is properly formatted with correct headers and footers
Verified that the JWT is being properly encoded using the ES256 algorithm
Confirmed the bundle ID is correct for our application
Checked that the API endpoint URL is correct
Additional Information
This implementation previously worked correctly
We started experiencing 401 errors recently without changing our implementation
We are using the Firebase JWT library for PHP to encode the JWT
Request
Could you please help identify what might be causing these authentication failures? Is there any recent change in the authentication requirements or endpoint URLs that might be affecting our integration?
Thanks for support me.
I have an app that works by being able to map IAP transactions to a predefined user ID. This means when I consume events from Apple's App Store Server Notifications endpoints I have to do a reverse lookup in order to assign permissions within my app.
Workflow:
User purchases subscription within the app via IAP. The app persists the subscriptionID from the Apple IAP library in my cloud database (Firestore).
Cloud function receives the event from App Store Server Notifications endpoint and looks up the user ID containing the persisted transactionID (with retries to avoid race condition).
Question:
This workflow works but it seems an improvement would be to allow dev's to append metadata, like the user ID, to the transaction submitted to IAP that we can access within the signedTransactionInfo of the event from the App Store Server Notifications endpoint in order to facilitate a direct lookup of the user document needing it's permissions updated. This would greatly simplify workflows that use non-Apple systems as a source of truth for app permissions. Does this actually exist already? If not, is there a feature request platform?

Where the problem occurs:
In-app purchase
Non-ApplePay
Non-local authentication login
Environment where the problem occurs:
Sandbox environment (Development environment, TestFlight environment)
Problem handling process:
Open page A in the app and purchase product B (auto-renewable subscription) on that page.
User authentication is required to purchase product B.
During the authentication process, the user needs to enter the Apple account and Apple account password.
After completing the authentication, complete the purchase of product B.
Problem in step 3:
Why is FaceID or TouchID not used for authentication?
Note: Face ID and Password -> iTunes Store and App Store -> Status is Enabled
最近我们有个应用要对接App 内购买项目,有什么好的资料或者demo提供一下吗?
While testing an inapp purchase, if you purchase the same product twice from an account that does not have testflight permissions for the project and only has sandbox permissions, the second payment will receive the same transactionId as the first.
Why is that so? I know transactionID is unique.
